It's been a very long time since I sat down with a pencil and paper and actually drew something proper.

never made the jump to computers beyond doodling in paint and the like. just didn't have the same appeal to me. if i want to relax and zone out, i draw. if i want to capture an image or what not, i take a picture. but i'm glad that there're people out there creating art on computers and giving me art to enjoy.

You be surprised by how many digital artist do their work on paper first and then ink it on computer. In fact that's something i do with atleast 80% of my work

I prefer digitally drawn. It's a little cleaner.

the various phrases were used more back during slavery was kind of short hand for what slaves were mixed with and how much black genetics vs others. kind of like mulatto and mestizo but were used by the slaves themselves to establish and artificial hierarchy that reflected that masters tended to treat the lighter skinned slaves, especially those with white blood, better than the "darkies" including giving them better jobs i.e. house negros vs. field negros. same type of thing has carried over into modern black culture when they obsess about having "good" (straight and textured like a white person's) hair vs. bad or black (kinky curly and coarse) hair.

Well no, not necessarily.
