Except Deadpool is far from the manly man. He's more of a quirky sleezeball who apologizes for hitting a lady. In that regard, he doesn't break apart from the world image Hollywood is trying to build.

Not at all. You're missing the point.
Every generation calls the next one weak and spoiled, but the fact is that they build that world and raised those kids.

You can ask people of all ages, when was America great? And most of them will tell you it was greatest when they were young.

When the union was founded there were taxes on certain things, no property or income tax. I do not believe welfare is a good thing at all, it encourages lazy behaviours. I dont think anyone should ever get anything for nothing. If you are going to give out money make the person do a job even if it is digging a hole and filling it in. If you start giving hand outs you will create entitlement, not to mention it is not fair to tax paying people. I blame liberals, conservatives, I blame any idiot who supports the corrupt cesspool of government the united states has, and I dont mean to just pick on usa, because I lived in sweden much of my life and that is a fucking sick joke too. The people should know what every cent of their taxes are being spent on, and if the people really knew where most of their money was going they would be outraged. Income taxes do not go to roads, social security, medical, schools or anything benifiting the masses. Seperate taxes are taking care of that, income tax which should be illegal, is going to other countries like Israel, jordan, turkey, ukraine, egypt and more, it is going to military, it is going to companies for contracts often on things that never get done, and it goes missing quite frequently. Just google missing tax money and you will have tons of pages of hits.
I have no interest in circle jerks, I have interest in people realizing what is really going on, and to get people closer to the point where they are ready to kill for the freedom so many died for. It will come to that, maybe not now or soon, but it will. They will not give up their power or their corrupt ways until we take it along with everything else from them. Look through history and you will see the few always steal from and oppress the many. Once we realize they are playing us off one another and see how they are taking advantage of us, how they are the parasites on the working body, we can cut them out, kill every last parasite and its eggs, let the body heal and reform.

I did not mean that they are higher in that sense, relative percent wise, and relative to what we get for it, they are too high. Not many people know, but if you look at what it is spent on, hundreds of billion of dollars every year go missing. And yes I can get sources if you want, but you can google it and even find incidents where billions go missing in many cases. Combined with the fact we give hundreds of billions out to other nations and many other wastes of our money. If we had a vte now I dont know a single american that would support giving our tax dollars to any country. Loaning would be one thing, but straight giving is retarded. Have you any idea how much money the usa government gave to israel? I lived and worked in prague, and in umeå sweden. I am a swedish usa dual citizen. I never payed more taxes than when I lived in minnesota usa. And in both prague and sweden I got a hell of a lot more for my tax dollars. No copays for medical and dental, roads that werent worked on and rebuilt constantly because they used decent supplies. In minnesota alot of tax money go to roads, and it is corrupt as fuck as people bid on the contract, then use sub par equipment so the road breaks within a year. We are being taxed more than we need to because of corruption, and a government that has completely lost touch with the reality of the average voter. If I only had to pay 25 per cent tax, which seems more than fair to me, I wouldn't be poor right now. I would have more than enough to pay bills and eat. Right now I pay 48.7 per cent tax. That includes ss, med, state 7.125 per cent, and federal. I make about 30k a year and got only about 600 dollars back last tax return. How the fuck is that fair? I should be lowest tax bracket. I know different states have different systems and I could probably move to texas and have it better, but the system here is much worse than under George III. The percent tax they paid? 0 on everything but certain products. There was 0 income tax, 0 property tax. Instead tax on non essential items, teas and more. Usa had 0 income tax until world war 2 and it was meant to be temporary. You may not know but 0 income tax dollars go for roads. why? Because there is a seperate tax on gas for that, in minnesota it is 24cents a gallon. Unlike most taxes it is put directly on the price of gas, Dayton increased it this last year. If you doubt any I would be more than happy to link source, but everything I said can be googled and proven.

We have to be careful not to circlejerk, i'm a danish citizen and all in for high taxes if the government can control the flow of money(no corruption, lots of welfare and support for small business and workers).

Based on the comment that started this, do you then blame liberalism for the current state of affairs?

If your problem is money lost in the wheel of bureaucracy, the solution is not to remove bureaucracy but improve it. Still don't believe it to be reliable comparing today with king george 3 era. Yes percentage wise the colonies had to pay less tax, but what if they didn't rebel? With a british monarchy in deep debt new taxes would be made each year, while the east indian company would be less and less taxed. On top of that they have to house and provide for british soldiers stationed there.

Sure, they paid less tax percentage wise but they also had to suck the great cock of the british monarchy.

"Fuck liberals, they're riding on everyone else's hard work and life choices.
Conservatives have made all of the things great about first world countries. "

Ok, he is still retarded. Why?
A: He compares modern liberals(probably sjw) with conservatives through history.

or B: He's comparing to modern conservatives, in which case he implies everything great about 1st world countries were created by our generation, Tea Party movement and those guys. You may claim The Tea Party movement to do great things, but we can agree they haven't made the fucking 1st world countries what they are today

To be fair, I can think of only one of the us founding fathers that fall under the current dictionary definition of liberal, and he was deported to france for being radically insane after the war. I am not politically active or anything, but I do not think it is fair to try put the revolutionaries into any modern political camp. If the american founding fathers saw what there country became, and the views the party holds today they would call for another revolution. Benjamin Franklin famously said "those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." If the majority of the usa population bothered to read history, and look at what the founding fathers were trying to create, I think they would be horrified and disgusted by what the usa government had become. It was never meant to be this strong, and overreaching in peoples lifes. People think that there is a significant difference between left and right in usa. There is not, they are appealing to two different mindsets with the same purpose, to gain more centralized power, and allow less and less dissent from the people they rule. To be honest George III was nothing like the current government, he allowed much more freedom, he forced on a much smaller tax. You can say no taxation without representation, but when all our representation are lying members of a corrupt system I do not see how it much different. The usa government is too big and because of this you have around 150million people every four years whos voiced are not heard. The democracy of the united states is a failed institution which needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

I'm not knowledgeable about politics enough to really hold any weight in the discussion, but I agree that the way the US is run is shit. If you go from any of the 4 cardinal directions to the opposite, it's like a totally different country on each end. America is too big and too diverse to be run as one entire whole. That's what the cause of such massive dissent is.

Think about this for a second. 50 states. All big enough to be their own country if we compare them to Europe. So we make them all a separate country. We keep our joint military might between the 50, remain a solid team that helps each other out and keeps free travel between us, stick to the same basic ideals laid out in the constitution, but tear down the widespread governing body at the head. Each newborn country governs itself without the white house breathing down their neck, makes whatever small changes they want to make. Shit like that. If I didn't already feel longwinded enough, and wasn't as tired as I am, I'd see if I could elaborate more, but that's enough to get the point across, I think. Just all of the America that makes America America, but without widespread government leaving flaming dogshit bags on the people's doorsteps.

Instead of the USA, we could call it the ACA. Allied Countries of America. Yeah? Good idea? Edgexplain for president of Indiana?
#103 - thrym (06/21/2016) [-]
That is exactly what the Confederacy wanted. Take away the slave part of their argument, and they were the best choice in that war. The confederacy named themselves after a piece of revolutionary war documentation called articles of confederation. The USA government was alway meant to be week and have no say over local affairs, but to be uniting and defending factor of the people, nothing more. The current government is tyrannical and overbearing. I agree, minus slavery, with the confederation, and their ideology. I am not a racist nor am I southern. But I believe the power should be in the states and not in the union, not in washington where they know little if nothing about our daily struggles, and our worries and concerns. The issues of a minnesotan are not the same as a texan or californian. We dont need the same laws for many things, we do not want much of what it is being pushed on everyone.
#39 - ostemad (06/20/2016) [-]
I'm not comparing the founding fathers to modern(american) liberalism. Yes America is screwed atm, look at their presidential candidates.
Just trying to point out that without liberalism, first world countries wouldn't be first world countries.

And of course are the taxes higher today. At the time of George III, people rode horses and a splint in the foot could end up in amputation. If America wants roads, highways, hospitals, fire/police departments and the most hightech army in the world - they have to pay a little more.
