I was raised catholic and attended 12 years of catholic school. Ive studied jesus pretty well and ive found that the catholic church completley warps and twists jesuses words to fit their teachings. Most priests ive talked to completley misunderstand the meaning behind jesuses teachings because they make it all about god and not about him. Wether or not god exists is entirely irrelevant to jesuses teachings and claiming that jesus was literally the son of god only over complicates it for people who dont believe in god.

Actually, it does matter that God exists as Jesus was sent specifically for the purpose to save us from our sins and to give salvation to the world.

Jesus was the one who said it himself. Just look at this: 36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. " (Matthew 22:36-38, NIV).

To say that God doesn't matter to Jesus' teachings is one of the warped views that people take to disregard the Bible and do whatever the heck they want by ignoring everything that Jesus stood for.
I've studied religions and maintained as a faithful Christian throughout my life so I know what I'm talking about when I hear things like these as they are the first step to disaster.

You can replace god in every instance of the bible with "chance" or "universe" and it will make far more sense that "creator".

Nothing about that verse implies that he was talking about jesuses physical apearance. He was talking about the esteem for which people regaurded him ,based on who he seemed to be. He was a man of suffering and showed hardship and showed little sign of a powerful or well off man. Basically hes saying that jesus looked and acted like a homeless man and he was rejected and no one paid him a second glance. He just did not apear to be a saviour.

That was from the old testament. It does not describe jesus, but is a prophecy. There are a number of texts that claim what jesus looked like. Some say he was dark skinned, some said lighter, some claimed dark hair, some chestnut, and others golden. His eyes were described as black, brown, grey, and blue depending on the text. Almost all of these texts came about long after he was dead. The whole idea of arguing about what he looked like is totally pointless, his appearance should make no difference to his teachings.
"Well, I like the Christmas Jesus best and I'm saying grace. When you say grace, you can say it to grownup Jesus or teenage Jesus or bearded Jesus, or whoever you want."

I know I've heard a lot of verses talking about how plain and down to earth the guy dressed, looked and was treated. It's not to say anything against his character, guy has a lot of good stuff to say even if you're not Christian, it's just kind of odd to hear people describe him as "attractive" when pretty much everything I've seen written has pointed in the opposite direction.

Unfortunately female DMs have the same susceptibility to Magical Realm their game settings, same as anyone else.

It's why I always fade to black. I don't care if my characters want to extrapolate about their tender handholding lovemaking to their wife of 20 years, or fuck a sentient watermelon while whistling the emperial march theme on a stormy day. We FTB that shit.

Aint nobody got time for that.
