He's a good enough writer where the actions of the characters are clear enough for the audience. His type of storytelling means that not every little change and motivation has to be clearly explained and laid out to the audience. Tony Stark's arc in the first film was him coming to accept working with others, now Whedon didn't make So Tony Stark go "We're family guys, we need to work together bla bla bla", no he showed it to us through Stark sacrificing himself at the end of the film, not knowing that he would survive.
Yeah, Whedon is famous for his smart ass dialogue, but he can do it because he knows how to tell a story without pandering to the audience.

that's finals month for you, professors seem to believe we need zero time to do anything

It kind of makes me want to write and re-film that premise myself. If given the love and attention it deserves, that could be really good.

I agree on the writing but with only a week the professor had us running around with our heads cut off
User avatar #63 - oneguy (05/02/2015) [-]
No doubt. I imagine that gave you maybe 2-3 days to write, edit, get feedback revise. Maybe about 3 days to film, and 2-3 days to edit the footage. That's pretty ridiculous. Especially for a skit like that that has a lot of potential.
