Didn't see the comment, sorry.

But yes I agree. I also think the main questline could be expanded since all the previous dragonborns have become great leaders and often kings and emperors. Just implementing more options of gaining positions of power in the game. But make them hard to reach and whatever, but the game structure as of now would water down that experience too I reckon.

It could have been so much more.

Also disappointed in the cities. Really disappointed in them. I know Skyrim is supposed to be less populated, but come on. Soltitude is smaller than Bravil.

Well Oblivion made you go to other towns via fighters and mages guild.
Skyrim has some cool additions, but it takes away too much for me.

AND ITS TOO GOD DAMN BIG

Skyrim wasn't that big.

If you ever explore, you find nothing. No trees, no nothing. Just hills. And snow. It is too big for what it has.

The Big MT with one useful town and a whole lot of nothing to do
User avatar

And the castle Dawnguard was the only cool place really... since it looked like a real fucking castle.

There is so many problems I have with that game.
It is a guilty pleasure though, I enjoy going around slaughtering holds.

It looked promising.

Oh no I agree, by the time you reach a "hard" dragon, you can almost kill it in 2 hits.
#217 - satrenkotheone (08/07/2013) [-]
Also wish they looked more like the Dragons of Dragon Age.... which by definition are real dragons since they got 4 legs.

Skyrim dragons are merely Drakes. Also way too small.
User avatar
#207 - unikornanarkyh (08/07/2013) [-]
I don't think being human can be applied to Skyrim. Maybe a person. Normal person FTW.
Dragonborn really doesn't come with much. Can use shouts (most worthless) and can kill dragons. Whoop.

User avatar
#157 - omnomnominator (08/07/2013) [-]
I reckon they should have got rid of that 'Dragonborn' crap, and just had dragons be unbelievably powerful things that you need to run away from until you get very powerful. It really says something when I had more fun fighting a mammoth than a dragon.

And another thing... in Oblivion it's a temperate/warm climate for the most part.

And the fur and leather armour looks warm in that game. In Skyrim which is snowy? Nooo, they're just using small leather straps. Didn't make sense to me.

Tried to make the armour look cooler or something I guess, whilst Oblivion had most armour looking... standard.
User avatar
#155 - omnomnominator (08/07/2013) [-]
Honestly, I think snowy mountains for an entire location is a terrible idea. It stopped them from having huge, grand locations such as Imperial City, it was just villages all over the place. In theory, a land at war with itself and dragons is a great idea, but for an open world game, it just sort of wrecks the 'do as you want' feel of the game.
