i really did it. 1st one is good enough for a normal postcard-sized picture.

this one is just a dozen pixels bigger. not much better, but you can save money and print it with the golden frame.

let me know if anybody finds a bigger one. a DIN-A4 sized poster would be nice.

They're professional fencers. They put this on as a show and rehearsed it.
#35 - anon (11/07/2016) [-]
They're actually at a fencing competition. So it's entirely possible they know how to fence to some degree
#36 - quantumsalad (11/07/2016) [-]
they probably are great fencers too, but they are using lightsaber techniques
and lets be honest, those styles are made to look and sound cool and last a while on screen
if the starwars films were accurate, duals would last 30 seconds and maybe 6 strikes would be made
or the force would be used a lot more often too
#38 - anon (11/07/2016) [-]
The exact opposite.

Fencing isn't combat either, it's sport. In sport you just have to win more points than you lose, that's why so see so many quick and risky moves.

In combat you have to NEVER lose a single "point", or you die. Nothing is the same as sport.

Combat with swords with almost no forward weight and that require almost no pressure to cut massively (e.g. lightsabers) would be extremely perilous to both users and would likely consist almost solely of jockeying for position/clear advantage from range where the swords touched but were not in range to cut the person. Only after a long time of that when someone either a) screwed up majorly, or b) was able to massively trick the opponent into falsely committing, or something like that, would something noteworthy actually happen.
#86 - quantumsalad (11/07/2016) [-]
thats would be perfectly applicable, but remember the history of lightsabers and their style
its comes from force users, people with reflexes and striking speed that put bruce lee to shame

But even then, because of the way states gets seats at the electoral college. some states have almost three times as high a ratio of seats to population as the states with the lowest ratio of seats to population.
It would probably be better, especially in the secure states, but it still wouldn't be fair.

While this is true, a lot of the polls have several 100 thousand votes, even going up to 1.7 million.
This still appears, to me, as large enough sample groups (with a few exceptions of course), to at least paint a somewhat general picture over who the people want as their president.
Besides, out of all 25 active polls, Hillary only came on top in one of them, with 6,242 total votes

trying so hard to be scientific but where is the data source? people on the internet motivated to vote in a random poll... Hillary supporters knew she won and would never go to all 25 polls to vote anyway

MAYBE there's a reason for a differentiation between scientific polling methods and random internet polls...

> Knew she won

I could say the same about Trump, I could say I know he won.
If the polls had all said Hillary won you likely wouldn't excuse it away with "oh internet polls don't count"
I watched the debate, and from what I saw, I definitely think Trump did a relatively better job, considering the moderator debated him on Hillary's behalf some of the time.
People keep saying he went for the bait, but so what?
I'd rather have a candidate actually defent himself from accusations rather than smile and laugh it all away and telling fact checkers to back them up, rather than knowing their own shit, which wouldn't even have any effect until the debate was already over.

non-scientific findings of any kind often don't count for jack shit...

I knew she won, I felt no reason (and still don't) to vote in online polls that just get spammed as if that would prove she did. this community's circle jerk to get out this pointless voting as if that proves he won is silly.

There will be scientific ones specifically polling undecideds which is what actually matters and the few basic studies of those are saying Hillary won by a landslide. 3 to 1
