Except the MILITIA needs to be well-regulated, whereas the rest of the amendment mentions nothing about regulating the sale of firearms, instead explicitly labeling the right to keep and bear arms as a requirement for the well-regulated militia to form.

That's quite a twisting of the language to get from "well-regulated militia" to "The ownership and transfer of firearms must be well regulated"

There's 50 fucking ways to interpret the line. What I'm doing is no less "twisting of language" than parting the sentence up into bits and acting like their not tied together.

Originally the second amendment was brought in so that the citizens can go on the street and fight against the government if it should get corrupted.

You weapon fags should do that instead of bitching around you should enforce your rights.

You skipped over the second part that says:

"...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

In fact, it doesn't say anywhere in there that the people must be part of a militia in order to have this right, nor does it say that the firearms are intended for the use in a militia only.

So, in summary, you're getting caught up on the implicit part and completely ignoring the explicit part.

That is exactly what infringing is.
#43 - anon (07/03/2016) [-]
Infringing would be more like voter disenfranchisement, where some people straight up have no access, or where people would be arrested for owning any gun.
User avatar
#20 - ogomer (07/02/2016) [-]
The right is to own arms, not to not be regulated in regards to owning arms. So long as people are still allowed to own arms, the right has not been infringed.
#60 - wootsauce (07/03/2016) [-]

regulating it does infringe upon it bucko.
User avatar
#21 - ogomer (07/02/2016) [-]
The right is to OWN arms. So lets say tomorrow they introduced a law where people must gain a license to buy more guns. You are still allowed to OWN guns, and can still own more guns if you get that license. The right has not been infringed in this scenario, yet it has been regulated....
#48 - anon (07/03/2016) [-]
"I made a really shit argument haha got you guys"

And guns continue to stay, what a wonderful country.
#47 - anon (07/03/2016) [-]

“A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
― James Madison

Note "well-regulated".... the way the US handles guns at the moment is nothing close to being called well-regulated.

User avatar
#115 - SoraDono (07/02/2016) [-]
well, first off get the essentials

skyrim
dawnguard
hearthfire
dragonborn
+
falskaar
wyrmstooth

next you have

SKSE
SkyUI
CBBE or UMP body (pick one)

then you go on nexus and check out the highest rated/downloaded in each category and start downloading what you like

my personal favorites are

wildcat combat overhaul
armored sprint
read and learn speechcraft speech
wet and cold + holidays
skyrim uncapper (vanilla stats are not balanced for enhanced combat mods imho)

there's a lot of good mods, i'm running at around 130 right now and I only crash once every 2-3 hours

I've yet to download about 5 more gigs of mods too

I was thinking about modding Skyrim this summer and this list of yours seem a pretty good place to start.

But.

Do you happen to have wyrmstooth personally? Aparantly the author deleted the download for unknown reasons two months ago.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield association uses the correct staff, that of Asclepius, the god of medicine. As opposed to the Caduceus, staff of Hermes who brought souls to the underworld.

Didnt Hermes also have some sort of relation to medicine or health though?
User avatar

Hermes was also considered the patron god of alchemists, who were largely considered the first doctors in that they would create medicines.
