The fact that you think you KNOW this without a doubt is actually more indication of a deviation than a confirmation of its existence. That's a defense mechanism when your carefully crafted personal reality is challenged.

Unless you have concrete, observable, repeatable evidence of something, then to say that you KNOW it to be factual or true is delusional. I KNOW that if I put an egg in boiling water for 5 minutes, it will be soft-to-medium boiled. I KNOW that if it drop glass on to concrete from a certain height, it will crack or shatter.

You can believe all you want; but you can't possibly 'know' that you have an animal soul merged with your own.

But it's okay. When I was twelve, I 'knew' that if I concentrated hard enough, I could levitate off the ground and fly. But I grew up.

Yes, it is my right to have an opinion, and if you view it as 'judging', then that's your issue.
You believe you have an 'animal soul' merged with your own.
I believe that's a load of claptrap and is simply an attempt to 'feel special'. That it somehow makes you the 'hero' of the story.

Live your life however you choose. Let me ask you this; are you the only one with part of an animal soul attached to your own, or is that true for everyone?

Unless you believe that it's true for everyone, then it's you trying to be special in your own mind.
User avatar #472 - nyxie (05/28/2015) [-]
I believe everyone does or at least most do, but most choose not to accept it.

Also, your "belief" that I do it to feel special is false. For others that may be true, but because I KNOW I don't do it to feel special, that cannot apply to me.
User avatar #473 - AcidFlux (05/28/2015) [-]

You're welcome to believe that. I, in turn, think that's simply an attempt to be 'unique' via internalized creativity instead of external actions.

In other words, it's like make-believing you're a super hero when you're 6...or even at a gaming table. When you're 6, it's okay to act like that all the time. When you're an adult, controlled instances of release are acceptable to fuel imagination and creativity. But to actually believe, sincerely, something like that when you're an adult?

That's unfortunate.
User avatar #470 - nyxie (05/26/2015) [-]
I'm a regular person, I live a regular life (with the exception of a few differences that involve my otherkin identity), and I don't harm anyone. I'm pretty normal actually.
User avatar #469 - nyxie (05/26/2015) [-]
I don't see why that is. I don't do it to be "unique". I actually believed this was normal until I was around 10-12.

I also don't see why age has anything to do with it. It's not an immature belief. Since it can't be proven or disproven, it's really no one's right to judge.
User avatar #471 - AcidFlux (05/26/2015) [-]
