Ah, but they are.
Tsundere, Heidegger and me was a manga about philosophers as magical girls.
A couple others I can vouch for, not sure on others.

But getting a shiny is like a 1 in 8192 chance so you can't really compare it.

Meruem from Hunter x Hunter, he's basically the HxH version of Cell. The author himself said Cell was a direct inspiration for Meruem.

Well, I do. so does our mom, but he never remembers. It's weird cause he never forgets his stats or what-not to a game, and he does great in school, memorizes shit well, but not tying shoes....

I mean this in all seriousness

he may be autistic
#43 - hsrfj (08/12/2014) [-]
I knew you were being serious, but god have mercy on my soul for laughing so fucking hard at, "He may be autistic"

>pic related, this is how I thought you might look saying it

ps I don't think I've ever used a stock photo being serious, thank you stock photos

But now, my question is which kind... Aren't there 5-15 major types of autism?
User avatar

most likely aspergers

We've considered this. He's a social outcast, memorizes things well, but fails to recreate it in real life/ 3d games. I would bet money he is at this point.

I have never learned to tie shoes either, and I just turned 20. It's probably my one greatest failure in life, but it's because I refused to wear laced shoes as a kid for some reason, and by the time I was like, "boy I should really learn to tie shoes", it was just too late for me.

I get by just fine without laces. Whatcha gonna do?

i'm not trying to be mean or anything but...but thats pretty bad man. I mean I could understand not knowing how to swim, even not knowing how to ride a bike. But not knowing how to tie your shoes? like holy crap
User avatar
#38 - TheHutchie (08/12/2014) [-]
I do know a guy who never learned to ride a bike.

No, seriously, it's totally justified to think I'm stupid for it. I think I'm stupid for it. But you reach an age where it's either too embarrassing or seems too pointless to try and learn. I'd rather spend my time doing more productive things these days. I just missed my time.

I can probably write up a short story better than 85% of this website, but they can all tie laces and I can't. No man is without weakness.

I understand that but tying your shoes in not some long process nor is it complicated. It would take you 5 minutes too learn. Embarrassment shouldn't be an issue since no one would see you. Unlike learning to swim or ride a bike. just try man, i'm sure you could get it pretty easily

Probably could. Maybe I will.

Honestly, it kind of bugs me that it's thought of as a must-have skill. You could go your whole life without ever wearing laced shoes, and people would still act like you're an idiot for not knowing how to tie. There was a time when, if your shoes weren't laced they wouldn't fit. Tying was 100% necessary, and we keep that ideology now. I think we need to stop and think about just how necessary shoelaces even are today before we go assuming that everyone can tie.

This sounds like some special snowflake bitch whining on Tumblr. Hold on, I'll try and make my thought process behind it more clear.

Technological progress. I can re-string a crossbow, but it would be ludicrous to make fun of others for not being able to, because hardly anybody owns crossbows. Apply the same to shoes, and you'll see what I mean.

By the way latino, those last couple of paragraphs aren't so much for you as for anyone passing by and having a read.

however when you apply the logic to tying a shoe, since a huge majority of people know how to tie a shoe, it is expected others should know it, thats how majority works. you are expected to be able to achieve what the average of what society can achieve. then to prove yourself better than average you go above and beyond, but you must be average first.
by the way i'm pretty drunk right now so if that sounded like a stoned 16 year old trying to write a halmark card my apologies haha
