I feel that it depends really. I can enjoy a good single player experience but there are very few games where I would play the single player more than once. For me, multiplayer just adds more to the experience. Ai can only be interesting to fight for so long. Players maintain my interest with all the different tactics they employ.

single player is useless, online multiplayer pvp is crap, co-op is where the future lies, there is no disadvantage... if you want single player just play on your own, but you an also play with friends, share experiences, at least for me it doesnt lack immersion(assuming you pick the right friend to play with), play dying light with a friend, its fantastic.....

This is how I feel too. You're right that Dying Light was a great example. Also, Far Cry 4 although it kept you out of most the story stuff it still had co-op free roam.

They got pros and cons, it's more like "Some game are better than other games"
Somthing dont get better than a lot of other things by simply being single player.

I live in a town about 20-30 minutes out from Swindon.
I know your pain.

Plus, there's also the rest of Swindon which is an absolute shithole.

True that, I live about 40 mins too close to Swindon.

Imagine stumbling in to that as a tourist. You would have no idea what was coming and you have to drive on the left side of the road.

Its just so pointless. Keep the circle in the middle, and you can just have one, giant, multi-lane roundabout.

Im sorry but whats so smug about it? Im sure he knows there are ignorant people out there. ANYONE who does what they can to make the world a tiny bit less stupid is ok in my book.

**noisia rolled image** I mainly thought that the first part of it was smug. The explanation of what a leap year is is fine, but his way of bringing it up grinded at me a bit:

He comments that "The Leap day is misnamed" implys that he knows better than the people who named it. Ignoring the fact that the people who named it would have done so knowing exactly what a leap day is.

The "we're not leaping anywhere" suggests that he is ignoring the metaphorical reasoning behind the name in order to attempt reductio ad absurdum, which is an argumental method that always strikes me as particularly smug.

It's just my opinion, and I may be reading too much into it, but I'm glad he got BTFO'd for it.

It's nice that he brings awareness to the mainstream and spreads the message of science but tbh, he's pretty pompous and has a huge ego(despite claiming that science has humbled him).

He's pretty much gravitating towards Jaden Smith level of logic.

Maybe with some people fame just does that to them, but i think he is just trying to live up to the expectations people set for him. Carl Segan met him when he was a kid which is cool as shit.

The whole concept is retarded in my opinion. I've seen enough of these types of videos to understand that they are pure propaganda. It's blatant lying and then thinking you've somehow beaten the person that was lied about because you established a false context before going in. Anyone who does this kind of thing on any subject is a moron for thinking that they are accomplishing anything. Not just for Trump supporters but for the entire idea of bait-and-switch questioning to prove some political point.

The only exception to this opinion I have seen was a video of a guy from FOX going around on some college campus asking people to sign a petition to repeal the First Amendment in our Bill of Rights, where he was rather straightforward and upfront about it and still managed to get some arbitrary number of signatures. Only an exception because he didn't lie and then parade it around like some kind of sore winner.

Sadly, though, they are accomplishing something by doing it. They're helping to sway the idiotic masses who are still on the fence.
The concept may be retarded, as you say, but that's only because you're not an absolute spanner - But some idiots will look watch this and draw the conclusion that Trump = Hitler.

Unfortunately, playing fair won't get you anywhere in politics. The people who are best at lying and propaganda will win. Ironically, it's the tactic used by Hitler to get into power.
