And it would be the best game in the series if anything you just said was correct.
Best storytelling? Best worldbuilding? Best CONVERSATIONS!?

...really nigga?

The conversations were stiff, bland and boring and worldbuilding often came to just infodumps. It was pretty bad by itself, but it's even worse when compared to Mass Effect 2 which got everything right.

How can the shallow character interaction even compare to the other 2 games?
The only thing it did better was more RPG gameplay elements, that didn't really fit anyway.

And...potential? What?

What the absolute fuck man.

Mass Effect 1 Vigil full conversation Mass Effect First conversation with Sovereign 1080p Find me anything as good as these 2 conversations in 2 or 3, you won't. It did have the best story and the best writing, with more believable characters than 3 especially.

If any of the conversations were stiff and boring it was 3's. The outright removal of somewhere around 70% of the dialogue options ruined the conversation system in 3, and pretty much did the same in 2. How can you call 1's system shallow, when both 2's and 3's system were more stripped down versions of the first games? That doesn't make any sense.

The game had a good base, it was the one game in the series were it felt like you were actually exploring the galaxy. Instead of building on that, they threw literally most of the RPG aspects out the window for "muh gears of war combat" and striped down conversational systems. I'll take a rough diamond over a polished turd any day

The best, you mean. It had the best storytelling, the best world building, the best character interactions, the most potential, the best conversations. The gameplay was a little rough around the edges, but I preferred it to the complete strip down that 2 and 3 got in terms of gameplay.

Eh, I can give 2 a pass because it didn't end the series on a massive weak note, it was pointless, but less of a slap in the face than 3.

Because I'd rather not play the downgraded "30" FPS version
