They've recommended these daily bone growth injectionso, but I'm not sure about it yet. The way I see it the only real way to get my leg back is to push through and use it. Though that may prove incredibly stupid in the end, it's working out for me now.

If I had one recommendation, it would be don't shy away from ther painkillers. It's medicene like any other, and if pain is all thats stopping you from getting up and around its really worth it. Even cheapo generic Tylenol has done me a world of good.

Yeah man I'm a firm believer in our abilities to know what's good for our own bodies. But I guess one still needs to be careful. Yeah i wasn't expecting so much pain, and for so long, so going onto these really strong painkillers for months at a time did feel a little odd but I'm just on aspirin/acetaminophen and some weak opiates if i need them. I went through mild withdrawal coming of my post-op meds which was a pretty horrific experience.

All of this just goes to show how something that happens so fast can have such long lasting consequences. I mean I was skating and all i did was hop off the back of my board and twisted my leg in the wrong way. Nothing spectacular at all. SUCKS ASS YO
