consider playing Ultimate Team, or do you already? It's significantly less boring that the rest of the game. I was lucky enough to get Messi in a player pack so it's been great fun for me.

ultimate team confused me, probably because i didn't read how to play it, so never got into it

well, basically start off with the bronze team with a few golds and silvers, then build up a team with good chemistry (same league, same nation team e.g. a BPL team) and play online. I spend a lot of time making teams. Buy players on the market or buy packs (which i would only recommend if you use FIFA Points) and keep advancing. Great fun once you get into it.

I just really liked the less serious tone it had, which is why I didn't really like the new one as it felt like it was trying to be serious again which I didn't want in a street game

I'm an expert at the actual FIFA games but terrible at the Street ones.
I did like the most recent street, however.
