I disagree, the movie just did Scott in a different light. Michael Cera played more of the bumbling socially awkward type, while the comic books depicted Scott as a slapstick dumbass that you couldn't help but love.

While the movie was different, it still did a good job of sticking to what it was. In fact, I probably wouldn't have like it if it was just a word-for-word copy of the book.

I watched the movie so much, then read the graphic novels, and I still really love both. It's my favourite movie of all time

the game is pretty cool as well, too bad no one wants to play online with that game anymore.

The movie was worthy though. It did a lot of the scenes from the comic well and added some cool stuff that only works with motion, like that bit with the stunt doubles.

Movie name, comic's name?

The film is: Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

The first volume of the comic is Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life.

There is a colour version of the comic now which is awesome. I'm going to have to get it and spend a day off with snacks and beer re-reading it in colour.

On of my favourite movies of all time, I read comics 1-5 before and was not disappointment. One of the few good comic to movie adaptations if not the definitive one.

Me too, bought the sixth book today and had to read it right when I got home. I have to ask though, why the puffin bad opinion thing? I would think the books would be more popular because they have more depth and shit.
