Ah. Okay, did he paint the covers? Shadow of the Glass does Ring a Bell, but I don´t think, I´ve read it before...

But really, those Covers are just the worst Thing that could happen to Books like those, I´m sure, at least 20% more People would have read the Books without them:D

Oh yeah, I promise. I was really undecided on what to think of those Books, because of the Over-the-Top-Clichée-Bookcovers, I was afraid, it was some cheesy blonde-Knight-in-White-Armour-Romance-Bullshit without draft, and in the end I got that amazing Piece of an Epos. I really, really love the Series, enjoy it.D

Feist's is very similar to George RR Martin's. He introduces less characters but the follows a similar context. I definitely recommend you start with the serpentwar saga. The best in my personal opinion
