Nah, that's just a funny gif I found online. I was about to get one about 6 years ago, but the lady who was supposedly giving it away decided to keep it.

gota admit the idea of having a bird is half awesome half terrible lol

My friend had a bird that he would let out of its cage so he could fly around. It was a lovebird and it was very, very loud. That's why I never allowed him on my shoulder. Plus it made a mess of everything throwing napkins and sheets of paper to the floor.

yeq my cousins had a cockateil (or something like that) it was a cute wee thing till you paid it any attention then it would proceed to tweet loudly for hours which would drive my aunt mad and with six kids i guess you could say they have a loud household lol

Hehe, it was loud having that bird around, but since it was small and cute I didn't mind. One day it bit my ear and then I suddenly started to care if it was out and about.

Haha, you got off easy! At the age of 8-10, somewhere in that range, I went to a museum/zoo thingy and my parents just HAD to take pictures. I had to balance one macaw on my head, and two on my arms (1 for left, 1 for right)... those things are ******* heavy!
#58 to #57 - smashingprodigy (10/25/2012) [-]
And had sharp claws!

oh god macaws i duno i just dont like those birds maybe something to do with them being seen as harbringers of death (or just the fact they`re noisy ******* who i just dont like lol) i got to hold the worlds smallest breed of vulture but it wasnt bad since i had the gloves and stuff for it :)
#60 to #59 - smashingprodigy (10/25/2012) [-]
How small was it? I doubt they're as dangerous as their other vulture counterparts.
#61 to #60 - mllerayael (10/25/2012) [-]
bout the size of a barn owl still pretty big i remember it being heavy which is surprising since i was a wee farm girl at the point and was more muscle than anything else lol
#62 to #61 - smashingprodigy (10/25/2012) [-]
I can see why a vulture of that size would be considered small. Even abnormally tiny vultures in the wild still have a long wingspan. What's your favorite bird?

apparently i cant reply to the comment below
thats true it would be a pretty good pick up line lol ive always loved peacocks i have always wanted to have one of their feathers and i did at one point but i was too young and destroyed it by showing it off at every opportunity lol

I love those as well. I loved peacocks as a kid, and we occasionally have humming birds visit and pollinate our flowers. As of now, I'd say I love the peregrine falcons. They're so quick and have amazing eyesight. Plus your coolness index goes through the roof if you were to tell anybody that you had a falcon.
