This isn't any old popular movie. It's one of the highest grossing films and franchises of all time. It's a cult classic. More pop culture exists in this one movie than all of the marvel movies.
You don't even have to see it to understand the plot and the mechanations therein.
If you don't know about matrix and human batteries then you didn't "not watch a movie". You became willfully ignorant of it.

**anonymous rolled image**I only recently learned enough about the film to understand what it was based on that picture. I wasn't avoiding it. I just don't watch movies, and people don't absorb information quite as well if its not something they're at least a little familiar with. It just doesn't register enough to catch their attention, you know? That's how it is with me, at least.

I don't understand why people are offended (not singling you out, just people in general it seems) when people are ignorant of some aspect of pop culture. I've been downvoted twice just because I stated a fact. I feel like that should prove my point.

I just found out that I'm being blocked by you. Because I said not everyone has watched a movie. I avoided specifically singling you out because I've seen how quickly internet arguments can devolve, but seriously, man? You call me out and then block me straight away so that I can't defend myself? Don't give out your opinions if you don't have the balls to defend it.
