correction, he's based off the Batman where Jason Todd dies in one universe and Batman actually does kill the Joker, the Jason Todd story arc had two endings, one where Batman doesn't kill the Joker and Jason comes back as Red Hood, and one where Batman does kill the Joker and realizes he can no longer leave deadly criminals alive

if you look closely at the shots including Robin's costume in BVS the pole is actually a halberd so unless it gets retconned it looks like batman and robin were murderers before Joker killed him

also robin is never named as Jason so it may not be him

Unless they use the halberd to not kill. Kinda like how Leonardo uses two samurai swords, but the bad guys never even get cut at all

considering the amount of brutal murder batman does in the movie you can assume that the halberd was used lethally

He didn't actually kill people in the Dark Knight Returns
He did in Strikes Again, but we don't talk about that one

He didn't. He only killed the joker.

Kind of, Batman only snapped his neck to paralyze him, then the joker turns his head to complete the snap and make it seem like batman did kill him

allow me to interject in the moment he didn't plan to paralyze joker, he finally lost control after all the years of Joker's madness

not always.

say you've got Alice, Bob, Carl and a policeman.

the policeman gets a report that bob stole alice's purse.

the policeman shows up, and asks what happened

Alice replies "Bob didn't steal my purse"

the policeman then assumes that it was Carl, and arrests him.

in truth, alice's purse wasn't stolen, but neither did she lie. bob didn't steal her purse.

through telling only a partial truth, alice the cop came to an incorrect conclusion without actually lying.

*Alice helped the cop come to an incorrect conclusion.

apologies, that last line's a grammatical clusterfuck

I didn't mean Injustice. In the New 52 comics I remember hearing that Superman somehow became even more OP because green kryptonite didn't work on him anymore. But that doesn't say much cause hes dead now. But my point is maybe this Superman grew resistant towards Kryptonite also
