So, you want to stop water from evaporating.
Why don't you write your senator so they can propose a bill to eliminate water vapor

Did you even read my comment? "I'm not saying that water vapor by itself contributes to global warming. By itself, it can't." You can pump as much water vapor into the atmosphere as you want, it has no effect. It just compounds the effect of any warming in the atmosphere. In other words it is unavoidable.

P.S. I'm not saying that water vapor by itself contributes to global warming. By itself, it can't. It actually just increases the warming done by co2, since the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere is related to the temperature of the atmosphere. Co2 makes it warmer, the warming adds water vapor, the water vapor makes it even warmer.

Its because right now right wing is seriously playing populist game.
Which is give simple solutions that sound easy to people, promise them it will magically fix everything and then stand back and count the votes.
Unfortunatelly there aren't any simple solutions. Problems are multi faceted, and complex as hell, and so are the solutions.
But people don't want to hear that, so when someone says "Cut taxes, cut regulations cut benefits, and america will be land of milk and honey"
they buy it. Because its simple, because it sounds good.
