Yes, you are. youre condemning a fucking huge part of the population because of a certain situation theyre in..yes, some have gotten there themselves, and some where unlucky..neither of those are enuogh reasons to hate them..theyre humans too and they deserve help above all..
#245 - mcmanybucks (06/08/2014) [-]
Thats biased as fuck though..not all homeless people are criminals..just like all blacks aint criminals either..we have a shelter for homeless people in denmark almost everywhere in the country..but they still go out to the city, collect bottles for money and beg, and thats ok..not many people want to hire a 50+ aged man/woman so its hard for them to get a job too.
#246 - kyoutu (06/09/2014) [-]
It is a criminal offence in the UK to beg where I live so yes, all the beggars are criminals.
However the government does a hell of a lot to help the unemployed/poor in this country and if you're homeless it's because you didn't show up to your JobSeekers meetings which you get paid for.

A greedy, self-centered, empathy-lacking arsehole. I believe that's roughly the definition for a sociopath. It's owned by someone who obviously has more than enough money to live, and something tells me they wouldn't lose their home if a person with nothing were to sleep outside the huge fucking block of flats they rent out. Have you ever even been to london?
#129 - commontroll (06/08/2014) [-]
Here's the problem, yes there are lots of good homeless people out there, but a shit ton of them are just crazy junkies. My girlfriend works in a Starbucks on the West Coast, and they have a fireplace in the middle of the building that they have to get rid of because there's too many times that hobos would come in and go to the other side of it and masturbate at/onto people, including families with young children.
Now, I'm not saying every homeless person is like this, but the amount of them is disgustingly high, and honestly, if you're that far gone I think you should just be put down. Not because you're evil, but because I just don't see how you can become a healthy human being after being so far gone that you go and masturbate in public onto children just because the owners of the place can't see you.
Too many of them are just disgusting or act like utter animals, and don't forget the fact that they steal and manipulate.

I read your other comment as well. As that may be wherever you live, I'm talking London specifically. i mean it's a whole different country, I don't believe the US has supermarkets over there like we do, apart from maybe Walmart, but I don't know much about it. A supermarket isn't just a grocery store... Tesco's is worth something like £60 billion, I can't really explain if you've never had the supermarket experience, but these are chain stores that cover pretty much the whole country and waste huge amounts of produce, usually just because it's out of date. The absolute minimum price for any reduced items are usually still double the cost it took to make. Believe me, if you swipe a couple of sandwiches no one is going to miss out. Plus, it being London, everything is more expensive just because of location anyway. You're either rich as fuck or poor as fuck, there's not much in between, and whichever category people are born into the vast majority will stay. So instead of helping the situation, the minority that has the money and power to help spend their time putting shitty spikes around just to make it that bit more difficult for a 'useless tramp'. Again, don't know where you live, but here it can be so hard to get by, most homeless are just normal, pretty sane people who were born into the mess that is the UK.

What I call a grocery store you call a supermarket. The store I worked in was the size of large Walmarts and Tescos. They are only in Texas, yet the family that owns it is worth 10.1 billion.
I meant the individual location costs a million dollars a month, and that goes for any store of comparable size, this was before "shrink" which is any product that is not sold, whether that's because of it expiring, spoiling or being stolen. If a manager has too much loss of profits they're fired, or if the store gets too bad, then the location is shut down and hundreds are fired.
The reason they waste product is because of dumb laws and such regulating it. But, number one cause of shrink is shoplifting. It is a HUGE problem, and it's honestly shocking to me because I've never shoplifted, yet it seems like a massive problem.
As I've stated many times though, homeless people drive up crime in areas, many of them mug, steal, and kill. They smell bad, they make you want to not be in the area with them, and many act like animals.
I'm not saying every homeless man is a horrible animal that needs to be put down, but there's a much higher percentage of crazy and dangerous people on the streets than there are off of it.

I'm talking more about the people renting the apartments.
I wouldn't want my girlfriend renting a place where she had to walk past a bum every time she went home after a night out. So yes, they would lose money, nobody wants to walk past that every day.
Yes I have been to London, and multiple other cities in the UK.

Some one who has lost everything knows the value of personal belongings. I know lost of homeless people. Sometimes they steal to get by, sure, but from big brand shops where the financial impact of the amount they take is negligible. Usually supermarkets because all they want is food. They would never take from someone's home, someone's coat pockets, not even independently owned shops. They do it because they have no other option. You have a very warped preconception of who a homeless person is.
#73 - kyoutu (06/08/2014) [-]
"You have a very warped preconception of who a homeless person is."
"They would never take from someone's home, someone's coat pockets, not even independently owned shops."
You really think you can say that for sure and that is applies to 100% of homeless people? No...
1/5 of Homeless has committed crimes.
"Crime can play a big part in rough sleepers' lives. Nearly 30% admitted to committing a "minor crime such as shoplifting or anti-social behaviour" in the hope of being taken into custody for the night."
Yeah, they sound lovely and really safe to be around.
#74 - whereistherumgone (06/08/2014) [-]
No, as I said I was talking about the homeless people I know.
As for the article, all it really does is back up just how much these people find shelter as the main priority. Notice the 'shop' in 'shoplifting. That's taking from shops, like I said. Not burglary. Ans as for anti-social behaviour, I'd be pretty pissed too if I was homeless and the government did fuck-all about it. It's also fucking cold in england. They drink to keep warm, some even because dependent on alcohol because they use it so much. The list goes on and on... the point is, they didn't choose this lifestyle so they could target innocent people left right and center. You're focusing on a minority group of people who've committed crimes where you don't even know if it actually harmed anyone but a huge business. And even if they were all sleezy creeps living to catch people out, what about the other 80% of the homeless? You're going to make a judgement on the 20%, based off something written by someone viewing the situation from the outside? You don't even know anyone in the situation, these are some pretty big assumptions mate
#78 - kyoutu (06/08/2014) [-]
" You're focusing on a minority group of people who've committed crimes where you don't even know if it actually harmed anyone but a huge business."
All crime harms someone, even that done to huge businesses. It's still wrong.
1/5th is a big enough number for me to not want myself or my family around these people. I'm not will to risk those odds and neither are many others.
#81 - whereistherumgone (06/08/2014) [-]
So the wrong done to a huge business is more than the wrong in someone spending years of their lives on the streets? You have a screwed up view on right and wrong. The impact on the business is negligible. In the long run it's the government that should be pulling their weight. This is a stupid argument.
#131 - commontroll (06/08/2014) [-]
You do realize the problem with shoplifting is that it takes a TON of money to run a store, right? Not to mention so many people have that mentality that it puts them further into the deficit zones.
I worked at a grocery store for a year, do you want to know how much they had to sell in order to not lose money because of air conditioning, lighting, water bills, and employee wages?
It was over a million bucks a month in order to make sure they weren't losing money. For smaller shops it's nowhere near as much, but do you think a hobo gives a shit about somebody who can afford to own a store, even though they're able to be at risk very easily?
#85 - kyoutu (06/08/2014) [-]
I'm not saying it's more wrong done, I'm not saying that at all. Someone having a tough life doesn't give them the right to steal from others, even if their tough life was caused by the government, the large business didn't put them there.
Say someone punched me in the face, then I punched you in the face because I'd been hard done by, you'd be ok with that?
#87 - kyoutu (06/08/2014) [-]
I understand it perfectly.
1/5 homeless commit crimes, Like most people I don't want myself or my family to live amongst crime. there for I don't want a stinking bum living on my doorstep. You should invite a bunch of them to live in your home so the rest of us don't have to step over a bag of piss on our way out. Thanks.
#90 - kyoutu (06/08/2014) [-]
4 years ago and homelessness is an increasing problem thus more crime.
I currently live in Preston which has its fair share of homeless though I will be moving to Manchester soon I think.
I based my decision based on stats and statistics where as you based yours on people you know. You're right.

aegislash is mostly populaur because it has a good typing, ability, stats and movepool which all equal a super broken thing.
but the thing that annoys me about the game arent really the degradation of better designed poke's but how some poke's are overpowered and godlike while there are lower tier things that are super useless yet many people claim this is a skill heavy game when it all comes down to tiers and luck.
#24 - makotoitou (04/25/2014) [-]
Tiers make it so the lower pokemon can be used though. Swanna isn't gonna see use in any GameFreak tournament, but in a lower tier like PU or NU it can shine as a rain sweeper and do it well without being outclassed.
Also every generation has good mon and shitmon, so that's not anything new. It's a cycle that's going to keep happening.
#26 - knightra (04/25/2014) [-]
yeah, I guess.
but the thing is that gamefreak/nintendo doesn't actually acknowledge tiers like things like smogon, so they pretty much allow anything as long as it's not a legendary, which is pretty stupid when a phione is banned but garchomp and bullet punch scizor, skarmbliss is on every team.
But fortunatly I stopped playing this game in gen 4, since the "metagame" is repetitive and kinda boring.
