Respect to your dad , mate.

And yes , stay at home Dads are a thing worth mentioning.

My uncle did it , and he was always there for his kids. Helped them with school and actually had the time to go do shit with them.

His wife was all about money and getting somewhere in her job instead of focusing on the family. She earned well and could relax once at home.

There should be more stay at home Dads - if woman do not want to do it anymore , because they wanna earn the money and be equal , why the fuck not ?

But this is just my opinion here.

I get you, I remember back in highschool, wood shop, one of the other kids wasn't paying attention and ended up taking off most of his finger and he didn't even notice that it was just hanging there until he saw the blood spray up the wall. They managed to reattach it.

Yeah, his family will be fine while he sits in prison for polluting the ground water with chemicals, endangering thousands or even more people.

I have a family to feed. That's not an excuse to pollute the environment with hazardous chemicals. From my perspective it's the perfect reason NOT to do it.

>Refuse
>Lose job
>Sue company
>Don't have evidence
>Well fuck
>Nothing happens because it's a relatively small time case and the company greased some palms

>Record this video
>Now people know about it
>Company now has to deal with the PR nightmare
>Bigger, more well known lawsuit
>More likely to go well because company can't grease palms as well
>And then there's you, bitching about someone recording illegal operations and releasing it publicly

Also what the anon said. Being the "hero" won't put food on the table.

A valid point. However on a structure that size its going to take a lot of papermaché. And in buld that is a lot of weight. (Think how heavey just a text book is). So you have your papermaché frame and all those feathers and maybe a beak made out of plastic and its so long and heavy it'll just break. So you need to put a solid frame inside to take the weight. Something strong enough will have to be made out of steel and thats probably why its so heavy.

My stepfather is actually the guy who lifted it via crane. It was slightly more than 1t, so you're kind of right?

I wouldnt, a tonne is only 1000kg (metric anyway) that equates to the weight of 10 or 11 full grown men. That bird is huge compared to the people standing next to it.

If the bird doesnt weigh a tonne then it'll be close enough to it anyway.

But isnt it a prop? nobody in their right mind would create a 1 tonne prop..it would be all papermaché inside while birdy and shiny outside..
