Parents: What did you do today?
Me: I watched a 2 minute long gif of an old man opening a box of milk on the opposite end.

I will never get over how it looks like the last cut sets it on fire. I bothers me to my core.

before 2k all milks were like that , it wasnt that bad of a way to open it , that been said bottlecaps are way better and since they dont realy add anything to the price i would prefer them any day .
Now if Canada were to catch up , that would be great .

Pretty sure back in 2000 I got my milk from a gallon like a normal American household

Bags are master race, They cool easier, they're easier to store and you can control the flow for the entire bag the moment you open it instead of just having a rigid box tell you how to live your life and how much milk you can pour how fast. Canada has the truest of freedoms.
#50 - doublepzk (07/31/2015) [-]
It looks like it could be potentially easier to store in mass quantity because fluids and stuff. But pouring? I mean, come on. It's not that hard to "control the flow" after the first inch or so of milk comes out, and even then it didn't take long for me to get good at handling it.

yeah but you're restricted to the size of the cartons hole, you can decide exactly how fast you want your milk to pour based on how much of the corner you cut off. You can also cut off the other corner and it'l flow even faster

I'm Canadian and bag milk still seems 100% fucked up to me
#45 - vexigen (07/31/2015) [-]
I'm Canadian and I've never seen bagged milk other than on the internet. It might be an eastern side sort of thing though.

Milk bag? Like, a literal bag of milk?
User avatar
#16 - drtrousersnake (07/30/2015) [-]
but if you dont finish the bag, the milk starts going sour right?
#39 - anon (07/31/2015) [-]

#40 - drtrousersnake (07/31/2015) [-]

Nope, do you not have fridges in america?
User avatar
#20 - drtrousersnake (07/30/2015) [-]
yes but fridges dry stuff out. so if you don't have a cap on the milk, then how does it stay fresh once open?
User avatar
#23 - shyyguy (07/30/2015) [-]
I've seen bags of liquid with caps. Not sure if bagged milk have it, but liquid eggs still do.

for bagged milk, you put it in the pitcher and cut the top corner of the bag to make a makeshift spout.

Dunno, seems to last just fine.

Where I live they're still like that, I actually prefer them like that because you can pour faster and you can fold the empty cartons tighter

Exactly! And if you can go without using plastic in a product, you should always do it.
