Try some straps or something.

I found when I lazy lay my hand on the bar like a limp handjob from a girl with cerebral palsy that my lats responded more. Also sounds REALLY counterintuitive and sorta like crossfit, but also for some reason swinging just a bit to start the motion and squeezing at the top helps my lats too. (also gets normies mirin cuz you aren't really kipping but the momentum helps get a couple extra reps.)

I've gotten pretty good at pull-ups, used straps, done paused pull-ups, done 3x3s, and all sorted other variations. Only every saw better arm development and never once got a lat pump or soreness. Literally the only thing I hadn't tried was a close grip width on conventional pull-ups, and I actually felt it in my lats for the first time doing them.

I just posted the status because I was so stupified that I had never thought to try that.

That's strange since squats seem to work my chest more than my legs
Kidding
What's a squat?

Mostly dependent on how hard you grip the bar. The harder you grip the more the brachialis and biceps work. The wider you go it may potentially put more stress on your hands and therefore make you grip harder. Either way try pulling from the elbows too, as in think about it like putting your elbows in your back pocket and it really helps with lat development.

You use hook grip?

I've used the "pull from your elbows" cue since high school.

And no, I use a full grip. I don't feel any difference between the two.

I've been pretty good about keeping my abs even though I've put on 70 pounds in a short period of time.

And those are striations, but it has to do more with a chest seperstion than being lean. I have a slight bowl n my chest.

That picture on the right is almost a year old at this point also. I was pretty "fat" then compared to how I usually am.

I plan on hopping on another gear cycle before I get back on a normal diet.
Whatever my normal diet puts my body at then will just be my "off season" (even though I don't compete yet ).

I pop enough caffeine/ephedrine that half the time thinking is hard but hunger is literally not an emotion I can feel.
Every. single. one. of those calories is protein though.

You ever have the feeling of "I've never been so alive but all I want to do is die"? Thats what it feels like.

But when you were already low body fat that last couple pounds is the sticking point.

Just don't be accumulating metabolic damage and fatigue, then gain back all that weight and more when you resume a normal diet.
