Wait for a the GTX 1060 to come out, and buy that instead of the 970. Also, I don't know when you are planning to do this build, but if you absolutely can't afford a quad core intel CPU
Which I highly recommend getting one if it's at all possible.
I think AMD is going to be, finally, coming out with new CPUs fairly soon.
Major CPU bottleneck. Get at least an unlocked i5 like a 4690K or 6600K. AMD is years behind in the CPU market.
As for the GTX 970, it's still a solid card, but potentially the GTX 1060 will beat it in bang for buck when it's out soon. Although with that 970 being on sale however, maybe that's a pretty good deal anyway. You could consider the RX 480, but not until there's aftermarket coolers on the market. Cause those reference cards are crap.
im not an expert too, so please correct me if im wrong.
that CPU will definetly bottleneck the GPU, meaning that you won't be able to get it's full performance. i would get a Gigabyte z170 instead of that motherboard since i've heard bad things about that killer LAN thing, and MSI motherboards aren't good with AMD CPU's. remember to pick up one or two extra case fans if it doesn't include any.
now you have 2 options, first is to downgrade the GPU by like %40 in terms of performance in order to counter the bottleneck that you'd get with this current build and save a lot of money, or again downgrade the GPU but not too much and spend the extra money on a better CPU to balance things out.
i'd upgrade the CPU to something like i5-6600 or i5-6500 since it's a brand new chipset on the CPU (14mm) meaning that it's faster and since it's the most recent chipset, you will be able to upgrade much easier, and get a GTX 960 since you'd get a much better performance even thought it's a worse card than the GTX 970. that build would play you any game you want in 1080P with great settings.
or if you want to stick with your build for a long time, get the motherboard that i mentioned above, OC the CPU and grab a GTX 950 or R7 370 which would make it a true budget gaming pc.
