Yeah but it doesn't have to be nearly as agile. Not to mention that all of the F-35s flight controls work independently of each other. So the elevators can work as elevators or ailerons, and same for the flaperons (terrible name, I know, but they're ailerons and flaps and some genius thought that was clever). Even the verts can be used as more than just rudders. So the controls would be impossible. And besides, it'd be a lot harder to move the flight controls and would put a lot more strain on the pulleys at 1,500 MPH than at 500.

Yeah couldn't do that with the F-35. Wouldn't be able to get nearly the level of maneuverability it needs. Tell you what though, it's a lot more badass than the Air Force lets on.

So is the 135. We can aileron roll them. AND REFUEL!!! Or at least that's what everyone I've talked to has figured. We did the science and it is possible.

Well we do something, wait for the load to "find something wrong" and listen to him bitch. Basically results in him saying "The chains aren't tight enough". But yeah. It was fun while it lasted. You in for the long haul?
#37 - manninex (11/20/2015) [-]
Yeah, loads just motion things onto the planes and then sleep. The struggle is real for them it appears.

But yeah, I plan to stick around. I wanna get in some more college and commision.

That sweet sexy U-2S calls for me.

Lucky. F-35 avionics here. FML, shit's an avionics nightmare.

That's why I think the 135 is amazing. There's literally cables and pulleys controlling the things on it. Even if you lose power you can still fly it.
