OOOoooh yeah. Everyone forgets about the good things. The Volkswagen was a major help to Germany's economy and then their warforce. I do think that he was brilliant and a huge help to his country, but after a while I think he set his sights on world domination, ethnic cleansing, etc. and that's what brought about his downfall.

Well, they did steal his horse. You could be executed for that up until the 20th century. And stealing a horse from one of the greatest leaders ever born is just stupid.

Speaking of which, Hitler was probably a more humane leader than people like Ghengas Khan or Alexander the Great. He didn't even kill as many people as Mao or Stalin. He's just remembered for the whole genocide thing which was horrible.

Talking about Hitler, he did alot of good things for his country.

Volkswagen means“The Peoples Car” , created by Adolf Hitler.
Hitler wanted a small four seater car, with an air cooled and durable engine that would get 40 miles to the gallon, and could be bought for less than 1000 Marks (about $250.00). Ferdinand Porsche had already been in the design stages of an affordable small car years earlier, but had never been able to bring it into production. Between 1935 and 1937 Porsche built a total of 50 Volkswagen prototypes with the flat four air cooled engine designed by Franz Reimspeiss – a unit very similar to that used throughout the car’s production.

He wanted the best for the people, and affordable things. Good and cheap things.

Dude, you fucking serious right now?
It's a play on the supposed final words of Julius Caesar, who said to friend Brutus, before Brutus stabbed him to death, "Et tu, Brute?" or, in modern day english, "And you, Brutus?" or "You too, Brutus?" So, while you may be right on most of those points, the words "Et tu, Feelus?" is simply a play on words you felt like being a smarmy cunt about.
#92 - Womens Study Major (07/30/2013) [-]
Partially correct. The quote was never actually spoken by Caesar, but rather an invention of Shakespeare in his own Julius Caesar. Though not a matter of history, per se, the idea is still strong enough and well known. Still, I agree with your outrage, so thumbs for you.

Yes, I did say "supposed", but forgot to mention it was from Shakespeare's play. Thank you for clarifying.
