in general, shove as far up as you can (if you're not lubricated enough they won't go up too easily but on your period you're pretty damned wet) then [if in a casing] push the inner section up WITHOUT moving the position of the actual tampon then pull the casing out. You shouldn't be able to feel it once you stand or be able to see any sticking out the bottom, if you can/do, you've got the wrong size. I'm a virgin and the extra absorbent ones (even when expanded) I can't feel. It takes practice but trust me, they're so much more reliable than pads.

if you've still got your hymen there are special 'compact' ones

You can't feel tampons once they're up there.

Whatever you're comfortable with though, i think tampons are more sanitary
#71 - anon (12/08/2012) [-]
actually, it's pretty common for women to be shooting moldy tampons up their vaginas since they can't see the actual tampon through the applicator. google it! pretty disgusting.

For every assumption that is made their always has to be that one person what steps up and says "But i never so and so". You're speaking for yourself, thats fine and dandy any perhaps in the end its a good thing you're not like this. however please dont assume that the 1% speaks for the rest. Of course you never really said you were speaking for others so im talking out of my ass. Just know that because lots of people on this posts are doing that.
