Eh, Keter quickly becomes Cancer if you're not very careful. I'd leave it Euclid and a potential psycho-mimetic effect, but only when in use.

Something along the lines of people becoming overly-intent on following and believing the messages, despite physical reality not matching up. Excessive monitor touching, bleeding on mice, etc.

I'd also include something about 'repairing corrupt installation' on normal Windows 95 disks. As if this one is correct and other installations are flawed. Don't make the transfer from Machine to disk just kinda.. happen, give some prompting. a Means and Motivation.

Also I thought about turning it into Keter class - it could infect all computer systems by jumping around the internet/intranet causing mayhem to important Foundation systems and so on.

Definitely a good start and rough draft. Needs some cleaning up, additional information, and possibly a comic/creepy test log, but the potential is certainly there.

Perhaps I'll also make the incident report I mentioned. I thought about making a story about the guy who discovered it, shared his findings via pics on /x/ and so gained the attention of the Foundation who had the use amnesics and such.
Yeah I'll have to clean it up if I want to submit it, lots of typos and probably some bad grammar there. The test log is a good one, might make one later.

cont
After examination of the source code no anomalies were detected in the coding and any aditional tests performed pointed to the conclusion that there is seemingly nothing wrong about the disc or the data itself, thus currently offering no explanation on this anomaly. Any attempts to communicate with SCP-2157 by using text or speach failed and no reponse was given to the researchers, insted their efforts were thwarted by unpredictable messages, crashes or warning prompts.
It is important to note that any programs or games installed subsequently will be afected in the same way, rendering them mostly useless and unplayable. If the OS is removed from the hard drive and a new one is installed from a normal disc the same anomaly starts to appear, leading to the conclusion that it infects the said computer in some way, the normal installation CD is also infected. The infection isn't stopped if the hard drive, or any other part (including peripheral hardware) is swapped out. Also if that hardware is connected to a different computer it will become infected as well.
In conclusion SCP-2157 and SCP-2157-1 are safe to work with, however absolutely no interaction between both of them and any Foundation hardware is to be made since the risk of loosing valuable data and hardware is too great. Since the phenomenon can not be understood at the moment, the Euclid classification remains until further notice.
The first instance to display these anomalies is SCP-2157-1, a personal computer with a hardware configuration typical to the late 90's which was, along with SCP-2157, discovered in []/[]/20[] in [REDACTED] by mr. [REDACTED] who stored the said PC for [] years after he stopped using it. See incident report 2157A for further information.

So because the US is such a "stew" of cultures, to the more "original" places that culture stems from, it seems somewhat philistine. I can understand that. So now as Europe comes closer to a more sort of "unified" culture with less deviance and polarity, there will be less of the sort of bridling towards each other today so long as things progress the way they are.

Its because the people in the USA (and also FunnyJunk) have no idea what autism is.

From my house its a 15 minute drive to Eindhoven, the autist capital. The percentage of people diagnosed with autism is twice as high as the nations average.

People with an extreme form of Autism are admitted in carehomes where they can derp around all day instead of shoved in a regular class with that 'no child left behind' crap.
For people with a mild form of autism they have a seperate highschool with smaller classes and teachers that have experience with autistic kids. They get the same highschool diploma and get send off to regular tradeschools/colleges who usually have programs to support them.

A few years back that city combined with my hometown was elected the Worlds Smartest Region.

And the media barely pays attention to autism
User avatar #73 - nimba (01/04/2015) [-]
There isn't a special USA autism epidemic, just different definitions of autism.
