Yap, many of them have powers that are believable, to some extent at least, with only the Hulk, Thanos, Sentry and a few more being really OP. Supes and Flash on the other hand are just bonkers.

Yepp, i mean how can a Creature that can travell back in time and nearly see the future ever can get in a situation where it is a very hard fight? Supervillain will do some crime? -> travel back in time and prevent that he get his powers... that´s it.

lemoron is kind of being moronic.

All tap water in the US is perfectly drinkable and is usually far more filtered and cleaned than the regulations call for. There are some exceptions like Flint where the local governments were bought out by big companies that wanted to be able to dump waste anywhere they wanted, infecting the water table, but these cases are extremely rare.

Most people still just buy bottled water though, even though nearly every bottle water plant is simply bottling plain tap water without extra cleaning or anything. It's a marketing scam.

I never said it wasn't drinkable, it's just a matter of preference... personally, I hate the taste of chlorine so, I'd rather have that crap filtered out of my water

Also you mention that you buy a filter to attach to your faucet, or have a pitcher with one built in. Those do nothing for tap water at all. Put two glasses of water in your fridge, one pure tap one filtered. Make sure they are unlabeled and you cannot tell the difference. Taste test them. They will be the same.

It is drinkable. And for those of you wondering as to why fluoride was added, it mostly has to do with America wanting cleaner teeth than England but not wanting to have to brush, floss, and rinse every night.

as far as I know, it's like that everywhere in the US... it's drinkable I guess but, it's disgusting

I usually attach a filter to my faucet or have a pitcher that filters it for me so I don't have to worry about it

Compared to most other countries, America has pretty decent water quality standards in most areas (unless you go to really poor backwater areas). Generally they say that when you travel to a different country you shouldn't drink the water because you aren't used to the bacteria in that area. But to the best of my knowledge, at least if you go to the really touristy areas of America (New York, DC, Orlando, etc...) the water should be perfectly fine (although the taste will be different based on the locale, in Florida in particular the water tastes really limey because it is sourced from underground limestone cave aquifers). Sure it's got fluoride and chlorine, but I promise you that a little fluoride is quite a bit safer for you than a little dysentery.

I only put bottled water in my lunch usually. I drink straight from the tap whenever I'm at home. But I live right on the great lakes, so ours is probably better than most. It might be a lot worse in California.

It's perfectly fine everywhere in the states, I promise. I have family across the states and travel frequently.

Not in Flint, Michigan.

If you don't know what I'm talking about right now, look up "Flint Water Crisis" on Google. It's really fucking messed up.

It's actually pretty good in a lot of areas, and not too amazing in others.

Entirely drinkable.

depends on the state, each state has its own standards it needs to follow... some use chlorine, some use flouride, some use other chemicals that I'm not aware of

in essence, it's shit

But it's drinkable right? I've used to live on an island and the tap water there was heavily chlorinated and had a really bad taste so a lot of people drank bottled water. Is that often the case in the US?
