Thanks for the little list, I'll try them out!

I have absolutely no issue with random levels if they're done right, see Disgaea or the Diablo franchise. The problem is most devs use it as a cure for thoughtful level design.

See..if you play Diablo 2 from a devs mind set, look at how Act 1 is shaped, look at how act 5 is shaped. They're VERY different, with Act 1 leading you through MANY wide open areas with plenty of room to run and kite things around. Then you hit Act 5 - all enclosed corridors with MANY choke points that contain dozens of dangerous rare/elite packs.

Act 2 has a few strategic choke points but until hell they're not really dangerous. Act 3 has a lot of long corridors, but until hell the mobs are spaced out enough to not be a threat. Act 4 is both wide open AND dangerous.

Now, look at Diablo 3, by comparison. The first act has a lot of thought into its design, but the whole rest of the game has a difficulty curve that clearly shows little to no thought put behind it. Act 3 is one of the most dangerous acts in the game, while Act 5 has more annoying enemies in it. The tongue lasher dudes, back when Inferno was a difficulty, were by FAR the most dangerous mobs in the game. By comparison, Act 4 and 5 mobs are generally more annoying than dangerous. And all of the areas basically are the same, with aesthetic differences.

Random Generation is often a poor replacement for proper level design, and that's the wrong way to go about it.

Wanted to add another point 'cause I forgot, I don't see what the problem is with randomly generated levels in a dungeon crawler. If the gameplay is smooth and well done, it'll increase the replayability of it. The goal of whatever level you're on doesn't change at all with randomly generating it, the only thing that changes is the path you get to the goal.

Just asking why do you use both? You do know that there are extra lists in ublock origin(use origin not the normal one) settings?

I think I did it by accident originally, but it's never given me a problem before so I just left it as is.

Battled Brock twice. Won the second time after a training session that was kinda horrid to listen to. (Serious pikachu screaming in pain check it out)
Battled misty once halfway through team rocket Attempted shit ash gets a free badge
Battled surge twice. Won second time after contemplating a time thunderstone. Won by utilising speed (only badge I think he decently earned.)
Battled Sabrina twice. Second time haunter made kadabra laugh to the point of losing. Haunter was never even captured by ash.
Halfway through battle with Erika team rocket burned the gym down ash saved a gloom. Gets a free badge.
Battle with koga. Interrupted by team rocket wins after.
Battled Blaine three. Second time battle is interrupted by team rocket. Third time charizard kinda self governs and wins fight for ash.
Battled team rocket. Various cheating involved catch's a badge as they got blasted away.
All in all ash didn't deserve half his badges officially. But without actually deserving the cascade badge. Charizard didn't recognise him as worthy after exceeding lvl 30. (Charmeleon was debatable as to why he didnt )

He should of lost against brock again. That pipe being broken like that was a total cop-out by the creators, shouldn't of happened.
