For the past year I've been thinking about this, and someone suggested me to try and get a scholarship abroad since that way I'll be really independent. I've been searching around the net on how to apply for one but I'm just lost. Currently I'm not enrolled (because of reasons) and the college is pretty far from home. Hope I could find one before the next term start. I don't really want to be a bother anymore.

If you have the money, move out. I had a similar situation and moving out was the best thing for me. Move out, but stay relatively close to where your family lives so you can still be there for them.
If you can't move out, just get out of the house more. Get a job if you don't have one and earn some money that can go towards your future. If you're still in school, get to know people who might be able to help you after you graduate, people who can help you find a career in drawing or a job that can help you move out.
Seriously, think about yourself and your own happiness for once and don't be so concerned about your family. They can think for themselves while you have your own problems to deal with.

I started Mountain Biking a year back and that got me out a lot, but recently I just find mo motivation to ride it out. I've been doing freelance work but all the money just goes to the family and I can't even get some for myself.
I was pretty down and out when I read somewhere that I could just "book a ticket and think about your life on the flight over". Doing a little research around scholarships abroad, since that way I could move out and be far, at the same time still learning. I'm still pretty lost.
and as for thinking about myself, I just can't since their presence is just immediate. They're always there in my thoughts and it just pisses me off that I've been holding back for god knows how long. I seriously need to get out because this home isn't helping me grow anymore
