So, what is this if you don't mind me asking? Randomly getting up in class and dancing like you're white people in the eighties seems like something relevant to my interests.
Just a few random thoughts. For some reason I'm not getting good vibes from this though. . . The animation style makes me think there's some kind of super gore involved.

Damn, your instincts were right. It's from an anime called "Another" the kid with brown hair is day dreaming about this, and there's some gore, it's not anything crazy like guts spilling out and trying to shove them back in or anything, but the main part of the plot is that the kids are dying in weird accidents, so there is some gore involved. It's only 12 episodes and comes in sub/dub so if you have the time, I'd recommend giving it a shot.

I thought so, anime that focus or prominently feature gore just look. . .darker, less colorful, more normal. I think they do it to make things feel more traumatic.
The name sounds familiar, I've never been good with gore though so I'll debate whether I should watch it or not. Thanks for the info though bud.

You're welcome, and I just kind of stumbled upon it myself, and i like animes with gore and badass main characters because too many shows have the MC be a pussy about every little thing and every time theres a fight he'll go piss himself in the corner and go badass for 2 seconds, win the fight, then go back to being a pussy, and then there's all that "moral high-ground" bullshit in a lot of anime too.

I don't like the main character being a bitch either, who does? I hate the main character being angsty and shit all the time, if they're sad I want them to do something about it. The MC doesn't have to be a straight up beast from the get go, but I want them to at least have a proper mind set.
My main problem with gore probably isn't the gore itself, but the other things it's paired with. Gore in something high paced and bad ass and full of action is alright.
Gore paired with "psychological" and "horror" is not cool. . .it is not cool at all. These are the vibes I was getting from that gif.

It's mostly harem comedies that pull that kind of stuff. Some normal guy who can't handle extreme shit is suddenly introduced a new dimension of extreme shit that he can't handle. Multiple women with super powers or royal blood or something else super special about them will fall for him because he's a nice enough guy they don't have very high standards. Then, when all hope seems lost, it turns out bitch boy McGee has some super special powers that save them all/make them want his D even more.
The super powers that develop out of nowhere and make the guy the most powerful person around for a while when he used to be the weakest annoys me greatly. Other genre's of anime/manga have out of the blue power ups too, but at least they give them to people who can already kick ass and it doesn't automatically make them heads and tails one of the strongest people in the series, period.
I hate that shit.

Where as the main characters in most genres of anime and manga are what people wish they could be like, the main characters in harem comedies are supposed to start off as normal and easy to relate too.
These guys are supposed to start off as an average Joe and work their way up from zero to hero. That's why most of them look like the background characters in any other series. By surrounding them with cool stuff and babes, you suddenly feel become more confident with what you can do in life. I think that's what they're trying to do anyways.
They always turn the guy into a massive pussy though so I never really related like what I think was intended. The genre probably stayed around because of the fan service which they will throw at you at any given opportunity.

i guess so, i might have to go and watch it at some point, i tried searching for it a while ago but i ended up getting brough to "negima! magister negi magi" because one of the characters in that is named "evangeline" which i guess is close enough to fuck up google.
