The immersion itself is questionable. It would feel artificial to have all these straps and gear poking and jabbing you while you are sliding your socks on a smooth platform and to imagine yourself in a rocky cave. Similar to the sword swinging action in the Wii, more then not, it breaks immersion when the controller doesn't do as precisely as commanded and furthermore if you are concentrating on the controller or device itself you aren't really immersed in the game.

On the point about my ass being fat and lazy, while that may be true, I can't see the gaming demographic doing exercise or physical activity while gaming. Furthermore, it would make more sense to have a controller that acts precisely and less of a bothersome medium to play a game so that you can actually be focused on the content. So like I said earlier, the only demographic this controller seems to be for, are for people who require "innovative" technology to have fun, which would be snobs or casuals.

That would be under the assumption
A. that fat people can fit into the machine
B. that fat people can operate the machine safely
C. that fat people will use the machine
With all these into consideration, and the amount of actual physical labor (walking/faster walking) this would be a very poor way to get fat asses into shape.
