Its basically a tax thing. "Atheism" isn't seen as a religion, so some take the church of satan to get such tax benefits while remaining an Atheist.

Most shit i've read from COS is rather Down to earth, arguably more humane than most other religions.

There's multiple satanic churches, this particular one is atheist.

Make your own differently named Satan-worshipping church. Throw in some blackjack and hookers while you're at it because that's what Lucifer would want you to do.
#30 - what`s wrong with Trump being on good terms with Taiwan?  [+] (12 replies) 12/04/2016 on The real news 0

China is against any official recognition of China as a nation, since they consider it to be just a rebellious region.
Good terms with taiwan means bad terms with China, and China has a lot more to offer us

why does China not recognize China as a nation?
someone had to do it

Back in the great war of '65, the Chinese were fighting against the Chinese, and China suffered horrible tragedies. 27,000 Chinese were brutally turned into Japanese by the Chinese forces, and China never forgave China.

We've always recognized Taiwan under the table. I don't really see this as much different. Sure china doesn't always makes sense but cutting any sort of ties over this phone call would be 3 new levels of pettiness.

Difference between recognizing Taiwan officially and unofficially. If officially recognized, that would mean that the US would recognize a rebellion as a rightful nation, meaning we would be undermining China directly.
Indirectly, they can keep their pride intact.

I don't think they'd cut it over this, but that Trump seems not to see any problem with dealing with Taiwan could be bad news.

Except that the government of Taiwan is the legitimate government of China. Their official name is the Republic of China. But right now Taiwan has basically given up any claims and just wishes to be recognized as an independent nation. Recognizing them as an independent nation wouldn't be undermining China anyways since we've been supporting Taiwan since their civil war.

China has been acting like a child for decades and getting away with it. Trump is just calling them out on it and showing them he won't be walked all over like they did with Obama.

China is against any official recognition of 'Taiwan' as a nation, not China

same difference, right?

If our relationship is one such that they tell us who we can and can't talk to, then they have nothing to offer us.

They're one of our largest trading partners, Taiwan is far from that.
#49 - anon (12/04/2016) [-]
Works both ways. China will not drop their largest trading partner over this. They'd go broke if they voluntarily severed ties with america

I'm not saying they'd drop it over this, but if Taiwan were actually recognized by the President, meaning Trump when he's actually in office, as a real country they very well might. It would mean supporting what they consider a rebellion.
