It's a code of Law supposedly based on the Koran (the muslim holy book). Enforces strict religious adherence, women must wear the veil, etc. Imagine a society following all the obscure rules in the bible, for example.
It's the basis of law in some muslim countries, and a favourite example for politicians in secular countries who want to scare the voters. (See small town Quebec, and Putin above).

Laws established by people wo lived many many years ago.. Not even laws written in the Quran. That's pathetic, as an ancien "muslim" (yep i don't want to be in the same category than those idiots) i really hate the way muslims follow religious leader like a flock of sheep. I wonder where is their brains. I don't understand their logic...

so that's how celebrities are famous huh? they were born "famous" so they never had to do anything with their life to becoming famous? like the moment they exited the womb there was a group of paparazzi taking photos and the president stood by to shake his hand and award him a medal for being famous

I feel humbled every day when I go to work, school, everything and I see people with better credentials, who make more money than me and they have a shitty 30 year old compact car.
I hate having to defend myself, but I got myself into this position I suppose.
This was my previous car. AKA, Laura, or the Sex Machine on Wheels. I had it for 2 years. It didn't have air conditioning. It's KBB value is sitting at around $1900 and I paid $500 for it, coming from my deadbeat half brother.
The Acura is something I'll keep for about a decade. I'm also on my way to becoming an MD, and that was part of the deal.
That probably gives you a little better of a picture, I hope!
