- Uh, yeah, we do need income in order to advance our growth as …
, It would cause several hundred trillion (more money than even exists) maybe lower the temp 1 degree. Its impossible. It's complicated. And its not going to be fixed by throwing money at shit deals. Anyone who thumbed up OP of this thread is ignorant.
We all wanna save the world, but wasting money on impossible shit doesn't help. It actually makes it worse. Thank globalism. What happens when all those billions of people in china/india/africa "develop" and demand power? rersouces... fuel...
You guys did this. You did this by thinking that good feelings meant good results.
Learn economics, science too, it can't be fixed, Darkrin its not possible
Reaper, do you really research what you talk about? I am genuinely asking. Also what isn't possible? Reducing the emission levels? Reducing the damage we have already done? Because both are possible, and yes the second one is difficult, but the goal is get the first one as close to 0 emissions as possible. Then we tackle fixing the damage done.
Now in regards to reducing emissions, here
There is enough energy from solar alone to take the world to 0 emissions. Now I would suggest we still have, wind, nuclear, geothermal, etc. as backups to solar.
And by backup up I mean we have 100% of our required energy produced by solar
And the biggest obstacle to doing that isn't producing the energy it is actually storing it.
So that is where the brunt of the research should be. Because right now our best battery is pushing water up a hill and using it to store potential energy. Then wait for the need to use energy, and release it back down the hill as kinetic energy.
Now for the problem of fixing the damage already done. Our best bet to force it would be algae, and just planting shit in general.
Although, once we reduce our carbon footprint to 0 globally, the environment will take care of it on its own.
Also, you clearly don't understand economics. "several hundred trillion" where the fuck did you pull that number out of? Also do you think that when someone spends money on green tech it goes *poof* and disappears never to seen again. No, it gets spent by the companies. And do you want a way that the green industry has spat in the face of traditional economics?
Elon Musk released all of Tesla's patents years ago, and not only have they not gone under, they have grown.
again; all of this doesn't help or stop anything, our energy needs are scaling beyond any known savings
what you are suggesting, is we attempt to save a sinking boat with a bucket
get the picture yet?

"It would cause several hundred trillion (more money than even exists) maybe lower the temp 1 degree."
I have hardly heard anyone on this planet legitimately argue for attempting to REVERSE climate change and/or its effects, let alone anyone on this site, certainly no one you're replying to right now, and definitely not me. You just pulled a strawman out your ass.
"We all wanna save the world"
Didn't you call for a nuclear holocaust and advocated for the extinction of humanity more than once, you fucking edgelord?
"You guys did this."
? Who is this group do you speak of?
"You did this by thinking that good feelings meant good results."
didn't do jack, and I would appreciate it if you didn't lump me into a group of your own creation, InfiniteFaggot.
my strategy tho is to focus on scientific development and progress, solar, nuclear etc. which req a good economy

english is easy to learn compared to other ones. it's just the grammar that's a pain. and it's not even that it's hard it's that so many other languages are so lax.
