euro compared to $ is relative. euro is worth more but something that costs $1,000USD would cost about $880EUR
Canada gets raped on internet, cable, and cell phones though. we pay on average more than double the average than the u.s. when our exchange is only about 70%

I agree on the exchange rate for Euro to CAD or USD, but, once I just checked for the shits and giggles the price of the Razer Ourobors over here. I remember that in Canada it was $150, but here it was 150 Euro's. Tech items like that stay the exact same price figure wise. Just the currency changes, so you get fucked in the end anyway. But at least prices here already have the tax included. Not $x.xx + 13%.

thats a very obscure thing to check. you should check food prices, or auto prices. you'll get a better idea of the relative price exchange rate that way.

*Canada actually has pretty good internet. Canada is an expensive place to live compared to the U.S.

But yeah, the ~5 years I lived in Canada, I gotta say, prices were a bit high. Then again, some things over here are quite more expensive.

(IE, if something in Canada say, costs $150, here it's 150 Euro's which is around $210)

But no property tax and stuff, car insurance is a lot cheaper and everything too.
