That's ok. Together, through highs and lows, we will discover what it means.

. . . That's one way to look at it. .
User avatar #13 - Kainim (01/26/2012) [-]
I ran out of replies :D
but to continue the conversation, that guy was indeed creepy, I'm all for long kisses, but at the appropriate moment, with the appropriate atmosphere, and... ofcourse, only when I'm sure all terms are clear and she actually wants to kiss, for instance in your situation, if you keep distance like that and you don't respond to hints, I would never kiss you in his place xD

some people are just really bad at reading signs I guess (not that I am always right, but I'm pretty good at it I think)
User avatar #34 to #13 - katiewoman (02/04/2012) [-]
We used up all the replies!

I know, right?! Dream job!!

How about you? Do you have a dreamn job?
User avatar #14 to #13 - katiewoman (01/27/2012) [-]
As long as you'r attentive then I don't think there's much of a problem, he was obviously too wound up in himself to notice the very stong signal I was emitting.
And that is why I am glad I refused to see him again.

Anyway, bad dating stories, eh?
User avatar #15 to #14 - Kainim (01/27/2012) [-]
I don't have any ^^ I'm not familiar with the concept of dating actually, is it going out with the prospect of "he might be a suitable man to have a relationship with/sex with"?
because I just go out with people and if something happens than that's fine, having expectations tends to ruin things for me^^
User avatar #16 to #15 - katiewoman (01/31/2012) [-]
To be honest, the only reason I called it dating was because it was *cough* online dating. . . if you meet someone from a dating site, it is definitely the case that you will go on a date with them. Other than that, with people I've met outisde of the internet, I'm just as stumped as you.
Alex and I have never been on a 'date' and we've been toghether for years. . .
User avatar #17 to #16 - Kainim (02/01/2012) [-]
hehe, dating is overrated but I see what you mean, it's indeed a date when you meet someone online ^^
User avatar #18 to #17 - katiewoman (02/01/2012) [-]
Haha, yep, dating is definitely overrated! and being single is considerably more fun on most occasions =D
User avatar #19 to #18 - Kainim (02/01/2012) [-]
i can flirt freely which is a lot of fun, but I miss affection, not temporary affection, but unconditional, unsituational affection, just lying in someones arms and be perfectly happy, makes me feel pretty down thinking about it :)
User avatar #20 to #19 - katiewoman (02/02/2012) [-]
They certainly both have their pro's and cons.
If I'd never met Alex I would certainly prefer to be single. But what I have with him is second to none, so I guess, in this case, being in a relationship is exactly what I want.
But hey, you might as well enjoy free flirting while you can. In an instant it can all change. It did with me.

User avatar #21 to #20 - Kainim (02/02/2012) [-]
that's the grand plan :D
flirt with EVERYONE

ahem, hey guuuurl
no but seriously, I just have fun and what happens happens, it tends to work out quite well, so why the hell not ^^
#22 to #21 - katiewoman (02/02/2012) [-]
I like your outlook on life!
Besides, there are things other than relationships!

Food and sleep are important too! Study is a necessary evil. Reading is awesome! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
So, you know, girlfriend? totally not important!
User avatar #23 to #22 - Kainim (02/02/2012) [-]
it's not important i'll give you that, but it does fill a whole in your conciousness :D
and you can fill a hole in hers huehuehuehue :p

but yeah, reading is awesome!
User avatar #24 to #23 - katiewoman (02/02/2012) [-]
Haha, I did actually laugh at that one.

Reading is awesome. I recently had to declutter my bookshelf in my room, whcih meant cleaning out the massive chest at the end of the bed, which meant giving all my cd's and dvd's in there away to a charity in order to have more room for my books. . .Is that sad?

User avatar #25 to #24 - Kainim (02/02/2012) [-]
hard drive can contain msic and movies, shelves are meant for the real deal, aka books, lately i've been to absorbed with internet i rarely read :< but i love science fiction and fantasy
I got the biography of steve jobs yesterday for my birthday :D
looks like a great read!
User avatar #26 to #25 - katiewoman (02/02/2012) [-]
Happy Birthday!!

I agree! And I find it much more relaxing to have books around me. I don't really have a favourite genre. . I hate crime, but Kathy Reichs is my favourite author. . I love horror and thriller novels though. They're just so darn interesting!

User avatar #27 to #26 - Kainim (02/04/2012) [-]
heh, i get completely immersed in fantasynovels :D
User avatar #28 to #27 - katiewoman (02/04/2012) [-]
I sometimes get in trouble at work because I read my book during rest time when there's nothing else to do.
Apparentely, reading is not supervising sleeping children =D
User avatar #29 to #28 - Kainim (02/04/2012) [-]
hahaha, children are burning!!!! wha..? I'm just reading my book chill out
User avatar #30 to #29 - katiewoman (02/04/2012) [-]
Haha, I'm faar more interested in the character in my book then I am of many children legally under my care =D

User avatar #31 to #30 - Kainim (02/04/2012) [-]
it's only normal, if the character in your book dies, what are you supposed to do? you can't rescue them, at least the children have a chance :p
User avatar #32 to #31 - katiewoman (02/04/2012) [-]
Exactly!
I guess that's why I'm studying to become a Librarian, hey?
User avatar #33 to #32 - Kainim (02/04/2012) [-]
oooh, then you can legally watch books ALL DAY :D
