Thats what I thought the entire time when I was reading them, its basically twilight for grown women. Christian Grey is Edward and its just hilarious how similar they are.

Yep. In love with a plain girl who has never previously held any interest for men. They're both (supposedly) exceedingly attractive, rich, fucked up and brooding.

At least Christian Grey likes it rough.
Edward's a fucking pussy in that respect.

Agreed haha! At least the book was entertaining in that aspect but god damn did everyone want that chick like no tomorrow, I don't think there was a second in that book series where they weren't freaking out that someone was going to kill her.

It was like that in both books.

I'm halfway through the second one and I don't know if I'll be able to finish it. It's all the same. Sex, argument, sex, argument, spanking, argument, sex, sex, spanking, some more arguing.

Ugh.

HAHA!! The second book was the best out of the three. The third well...I just read it to find out what happens but nothing new, just the same with one twist.

I guess I'll have to finish them. . I got them off the pirate bay, so it's not like i wasted any money.

I mean, piracy is a crime.

The books were based on a Twilight fanfiction to start with... I never read Twilight tho so I don't know how similar they are

They're extremely similar.
I read twilight too see what the fuss was about. There's no discernable plot in either of them, and whilst I can understand why women worldwide love the books, it just didn't do it for me.
Give me Harry Potter or Stephen King any day.

The books are almost as bad as Twilight, but at least the author doens't spend 3 books building up sexual tension and then fade to black when they finally get down to it.
