Kettle ball is sound for a full body workout on a rest day to be honest.

It actually might be suited for a rest day, but I don't think it will get any results by itself.
The instructor or trainer, what ever you call it, wasn't also the best one I've seen.
I was expectin a full body workout, but it just concentrated on the upper body and back.

Never trust PTs man unless you are in a proper Strength and Conditioning suite (like the one at a uni that has a top sports facility)

Nah you can never focus on one type of training and expect results immediately. Personally I'm a Rugby player and I like to use all different kinds of training methods to keep it fresh but still get the same sort of results I would get if I stuck solely to heavy weightlifting.

The one rule though is anything but Crossfit.
