There is a shutoff valve inside the pump which closes when the sensor sees that the gas is too close. You have to fully release the lever before it can pump again. Haven't you ever held the lever down yourself?

Not going to lie. Living day to day, it can be a very luxurious feeling to have a completely full tank of gas for some people.

Well i suppose that's true, but i mean come on, unless you just started driving you have to have topped off a tank at least once, right?

I don't even drive and I have topped off a few tanks of gas. (No job either so I don't pump gas for a living.)

Yeah, you would think. I remember my first car was an old Beetle. Drove it 3 years without ever putting more than $5 in gas at a time. Of course in '99 gas was about 70 cents a gallon, so $5 would last me a week.

I know that the petrol stops flowing when it is to the prim but i've never held on to the lever after it clicked, so i didn't know that you have to fully release it in order for it to flow again. I usually just get a mild shock when the thing clicks and instantlly let go of the handle. I drive a golf MK2 so yeah, i put about 5€ time aswell, filled my tank once and then was broke for a while.

No time. Got to go to work in a hour also get ready soon.
I actually forgot I sometimes have to work on Saturday.
Fell asleep at 6 am woke up at 7 from my boss reminding me I have work.
If I actually fell back to sleep I'd actually still be sleeping right now.
Although it would be surefire way to get myself fired if I wanted.
Anyway nice talking shitposting with you.
May you have at the very least a mildly adequate day.
