Yes, that is true.

Humans are weird that we don't necessarily need many things, but cutting them out entirely is a plain old bad idea because of the value that can be found in many foods.

You just can't go with the crowd and eat shitty food, regardless of its origin.

I know it's a tired argument, but you really can get all the nutrition you need from non-meat.
However; this is only really true for the 99% of the population that works generally low-impact jobs. Meat is unparalleled in its caloric content, so laborers and their ilk would have a damned of a time trying to go vegetarian.
Also, Vegan diets are completely asinine. I'm sure we can both agree on that.

Frugivores can be classified as omnivorous, jesus fucking christ.

you know exactly what I meant, not to mention there is no reason not to eat things that are healthy regardless of origin.

Bloody hell, I would eat things with bugs in the- Oh wait. A lot of things have bugs in them.

I'm just saying is all: we aren't omnivores. We don't need meat in our diet because our modern lives are not as physically intensive 99% of the time. We can barely eat raw meat without getting ill, so we cook it to increase its nutritional value.
And as I also said: I eat meat, and love it. But I'm under no delusion that it's a staple of our diet.

Spewing your propaganda isn't making it any more true.

How come those obsessed with conspiration theories and homeopathy always go for the same colors when they make their 'truths'?

Is insanity and propensity for gaudy colors linked?

Not to mentions it's difficult to get enough iron without any animal products. My wife (before I met her) tried to go vegetarian, and it almost killed her. Turns out she's anemic, and has to consume lots of extra iron to compensate. She tried supplements, but for some reason they make her violently ill (like, 15 minutes after taking them). I researched into it and discovered apparently if you cook with cast iron, and use lots of citrus juices in the dish, it actually liberates iron from the cookware into the food. At this point however, it's just easier for us to eat meat.

Leafy greens and broccoli can contain our iron intake as well.
It's really just the sheer caloric intake of meat that isn't necessary.
