I actually really love Gnomeregan but the Occulus is a steaming load, aye.
Gnomeregan really hit all the things I loved in a dungeon. It was thematically unique, it was vast and sprawling with loads of bosses and things to do. I had a ton of fun going through there just on my own back in the day, trying to get through the dungeon on my stony lonesome.
I don't get why people dislike it so much, honestly. I think it's just overexposure.

Gnomeregan used to have this bug, I think it had to deal with pathing issues, where if you accidentally pulled one mob that was on a different platform level than you, the whole instance would end up being pulled. This would usually end up being a wipe for the group and you had a very long run back to the instance from the graveyard, which was closer to Ironforge. Most group members would also get very lost in the run back since the dungeon was so sprawling and end up leaving the group. So many Gnomeregan groups would end up failing as a result.

That wasn't a bug. It was gameplay mechanics and I loved it. I used to play tank and I ate that shit up, pulling massive amounts of mobs and then nuking the shit out of them. (Of course, only if my healer could manage.)
And I have never once gotten lost in Gnomeregan. Not even on my first run-through before the maps were put in. I don't understand how people can get lost in Gnomer when it really is straightforward in terms of setup.
Entry level has one boss. The Trogg boss.
Second level is accessed by jumping onto the big cog, by going down into the rescue zone, or by going through the infested living quarters. Go into the room with the broken cogs and beat the Water Elemental boss.
From there take the tramway down, usually taking the upper tier and pulling up from the lower tier for extra fun.
Then you get to the airship room. Work your way around the side ring to get to the boss clearly situated in the middle. Then head back to the ring and either jump down along the ledges or work your way down through the staircase.
Bottom of the airship room has two exits. One to the Dark Iron tunnel and the other to the Robot Boss hall with the lift. Usually end up taking the Dark Iron tunnel and then taking the detour to the Robot boss along the way before heading back to the tunnel, killing Dark Iron Ambassador if he shows his punk-ass face, and continuing down to kick the shit out of Gnomo-Robo-Homo.
I just ran the instance through in my head and the whole time I had no need to question the layout of it. It was all set out very easily to navigate.
This seems to be a running trend with people. I don't get how many people find finding their way difficult.

Aye, that part was a bitch right enough, but in fairness a good tank would be pulling from the top and the bottom for a good ways into the dungeon in order to avoid that. By the time you reach the detour to the robo boss you should have stopped pulling from the bottom and if you're not going to take the detour anyway your group should ideally be taking the tramway and not the upper paths because it is harder to aggro the mobs from in the tramway.

I actually only did Gnomeregan once or twice There are a lot of dungeons I never did , but I've understood that the public opinion is negative about it. And I believe it was quite difficult to find groups for it probably why I did it so few times
Old Stockade is probably among the worst too if not the worst . Basically the only easily accessable alliance dungeon that level, and no loot table the were a few rare mobs, but the were rare .

Yeah, I'm too lazy to crop it out too. Maybe someone less lazy than us will come along and do it for us.
