Not full hentai, but a rapey cocktease. Definitely out of the blue as earlier in the Light novel, the protagonists have sex but in the anime they completely ignore that fact and they're supposed to be married! . Otherwise innocent anime really and this was really rapey side plot of 'part 2' was she was held prisoner by this creepy guy. I suppose it was done to create a sense of urgency.

Pretty much. I imagine that Ruby is gonna do some cool shit with her cape or something. But I was bored, and started doing a bit of, revision, and I discovered something that I think is cool:
Ruby's last name is Rose. Now, the tradition of flowers and petals is that there was an art around it, and each flower represented something different. Roses represented true love, a clear symbol of Ruby and Summer's bond as mother and daughter. But, ever notice that she is surrounded by rose petals when she uses the Crescent Rose? That's because flowers are symbols of marriage, but littering petals onto a coffin is a funeral tradition. Also, in the Red trailer, Summer's grave is surrounded by red petals in the air. Ruby is purposely surrounded by petals because it is Monty's way of connoting the death of Summer. Even if you just watched the Red trailer, you'd know that her mother died and that the family tradition is the rose and true love. Red also represents energy, passion and aggression, which is key to her semblance of breakneck speeds.
Now, Yang's yellow is commonly described in song and by herself as being more akin to sun yellow than anything. Bordering on orange, the shade is representative of warmth, growth, community and friendship. Now, assuming Monty, Kerry and Miles used flower colour symbolism, this shows that Yang has made a friendship bond with her step-sister but also that Yang helped Ruby to get through her mother's death and helped her grow stronger and emotionally in touch. This might also suggest that Yang is the crucial bond to keep team RWBY together. She's the glue of the group. Ruby is the passion of the fight, Weiss is the pure nature, clarity and intelligence and Blake represents the chaos and darkened aggression of every person's nature, and also she is a symbol of how to bounce back from struggle and save yourself from darkness. Just thoughts, but Monty went to town with colour symbolism and rose symbolism.

Monty put a shit ton of thought into RWBY. I hate the people who say the animation/voice acting sucks, because aside from the boob jiggling the animation's gotten better, and the voice acting has improved x10.
The story though is a masterpiece. I love when fans put things together on their own before it's officially revealed.
It sucks that Weiss is probably the character with the least backstory, becaus eBlake has the White Fang stuff and Ruby and Yang have their parents and stuff, but all we know of Weiss is that she's got a scar on her face and a living father/sister.
I'm so pumped for what's left of Volume 2, though.

Soooooo excited. I mean, the fighting animation is crazy good, but they could do with some small features enhanced. I mean, it's unusual to watch, because I constantly expect to see new female characters with enormous cleavage, but Monty don't give a fuck about that, he's about that storyline. I mean, Yang's chest is great to look at... But not the point. Have you watched the trailers? Because the scar above her eye is from a giant metal warrior that she fights. Yellow trailer explains Yang's reason for knowing Junior, Red shows Ruby's mother's gravestone and Black shows Blake's White Fang backstory and the point that she decided it was too much. Those trailers are so fucking important dude. Why haven't you watched them!?

Pleb, I have watched them. I just thought Weiss's was the least interesting, story-wise. the fight was still awesome though, but it's never been mentioned in an actual episode, and why the hell did that fight take place anyways? see what i'm sayin? And yeah, normal animations like walking and running could be improved.

Ahhh... OK, that makes sense. It just isn't as detailed as the other characters. Well, Blake has been filled in and Ruby has slightly, but Yang and Weiss are lacking. That giant armour fight doesn't get described, but it appears to be a flashback, since a vision wouldn't leave visible damage. I'm thinking that it took place in White Castle, owned by her father. I like to imagine that her father had that armour thing commissioned to try and put Weiss off of becoming a huntress, and that scar on her head is her reminder that she is powerful beyond words and gives her that faith. When the suit disintegrates, it shows white, so that to me implies that it is created by her father's dust business. I imagine the snow symbolism is the lack of emotion she shows as a result of neglect from her father, probably because somebody like her sister or mother died and he shut her out and focused on his business to avoid showing the emotional pain he's endured. I think that attitude has an effect on Weiss and she has that same exterior, and fears to reveal an emotional interior because it might make her feel that she is vulnerable and that attitude is what created her father's success, so being a bitch seems to Weiss to be the attitude of success. Shit son, I dunno. I just wanna see the wheels spin on Yang's motorcycle. And maybe a bit more jiggle animation. I'm a simple man. But I don't want Monty to oversexualise Ruby, Weiss or Blake too much. I mean, Yang shows off her cleavage because she uses it to manipulate men, Blake shows her midriff and Ruby and Weiss are dignified in the way they dress.

That's a very good theory! I always thought of the White trailer as non-canon, but maybe that's the best explanation, and maybe neglect from her father is why she chose not to speak to him when the lady offered.
I get how they don't want to do anything too mature, because on the stream last night which you MISSED, they explained how young people watch the show so they don't use language. But Miles swore a bunch in Jaune's voice, that was hilarious. And people in the stream were asking if there was a beach episode... No. I hope not, at least. I enjoy how Ruby and Weiss are proper in their clothing.
Not to mention Ruby's 15 although she's the best RWBY character

I dunno if I have a favourite. I'm really glad that they aren't defiling their characters with fanservice like generic anime does. But I've also noticed something. If you heard Red Like Roses 1, there's a line for each character. Weiss' line is:
"White is cold and always yearning, burdened by a royal test"
The armour fight is the royal test. I'm assuming here that her father set that test up to dissuade her from being a huntress, because maybe her mother or sister died as a result of it and her father went overboard and too harsh. I seem to think that "yearning" could potentially imply a desire for approval or love since she never got that from her father, but she adopts his attitudes. Just a thought. Of course, the rest of the lines in RLR1 are pretty obvious. As for the part of when she accesses the terminal, I imagine that maybe it would infuriate her father more if she showed him anything at all of her education as a huntress, since she adopted his nature and practically said "fuck you" and did what she wanted. Maybe she also gets dust for free from her father since she's a member of the Schnee corporation, but if she showed that she did actually have a use for it and needed more, he would cut her off. I'm just throwing these ideas out as they come now.
As for any "beach" episode, I'd rather there wasn't. It would just turn into fanservice, and dignity is something you really need for your characters if you want to make a good story with meaning. I'm gonna go watch the livestream now. It is up, isn't it?
