if it was a high school class, that's why. If it was a class offered through an American community college, that's why.

Fact is, British did a shit ton of anti-Hitler propaganda. Convinced a lot of people that Hitler's name was Shickelgruber, shit like that. They were really good at the whole propaganda thing.

You're the one that's wrong. Hitler's absence was unrelated, and he always tried to promote excellence in other races (Thus why he utilized so much of the Arab world for the Asian and African theaters). He was just a realist about the state of said races at the time, which was objectively inferior to European/American civilization.

Now I'm just imagining the children of the future visiting their grandparents' house, and the living room just having anime figures decorating it everywhere.

Well... I mean... Just because it's good for what it is, doesn't mean it's good.
You asked what's wrong with it, I say the writing is wrong with it.
Not sure how it isn't inspired from Japan though... It definitely follows a lot of the standards of Japanese television hero shows.

What ignorance?
Animation+choreography does not excuse the writing, and the writing is painful.
If you were able to also enjoy Legend of Korra, I guess that sort of thing doesn't bother you too much.

but you have to keep in mind that RWBY isnt a network show, its a web series. if youre going to compare it to an actual anime or any cartoon for that matter then yea the show is sub par. but for a web series its outstanding.

And as for ignorance, that post was implying that RWBY was inspired from Japan. it wasnt
