Have you ever loved someone but hated something they did. I hate homosexuality because it is an abomination according to God. The images portrayed by Hollywood are promoting homosexuality, pushing acceptance of it on a country that was designed to be 'One nation under God.' They are pushing society into a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. '...most likely never met.' In this society today, they cheer someone "coming out of the closet" as if it is something to be proud of. I doubt there are hardly anyone left who doesn't personally know homosexuals. I myself have a niece who is a lesbian and everyone who knows her knows it. I hate homosexuality but I was the 1st one to hug her on the church's front steps at my grandfather's funeral. Her Dad and mine (and probably others) were going to give her the cold shoulder but I wasn't having it. I took her in my arms as soon as she walked up on the porch.

If they want to censor homosexuality out of their own daily lives, their completely free to do so. If they find homosexuality disgusting, they are completely free to do so.

They have their right to have opinions, if you don't like them you don't have to listen to them. But they have the same amount of rights as you to speak out about their opinions, even if you or anyone else find it "wrong" to do.

Awesome quote inc.

“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."

Oh I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just throwing my two cents in. I agree that people are entitled to their opinions, but my point was that all these people are trying to impose their opinions upon this company and basically saying "we're going to hurt you (financially) if you don't change it". It's people taking opinions too seriously, just like in your quote. They're whining, but there are enough of them whining loudly that it's bound to bring out more whiners.

TL;DR I wasn't disagreeing with you to begin with. Just voicing my opinion about this particular group opinion.

Dude no they just want the attention..... good or bad it means people are paying attention to them and just won't quit.
#120 - jackflak (11/25/2014) [-]
While I don't disagree with you, it's equally as bad as feeding them attention to allow them to deride, threaten and harass others. This is especially true because while there are a very large amount of attention-seekers among them, there are also a good few of them that genuinely feel what they're spouting and don't care about the attention. They just care that their ideals are being pushed upon people. Ignoring them would not only validate their "cause", but also it would be a great injustice to these people whose lives they are ruining/attempting to ruin.

Think about the articles that have been posted recently on here along the lines of "woman imprisoned for falsely accusing man of rape". There are several cases where some people ARE falsely accused and imprisoned due to it.

Its like racism. If you keep mentioning it, it keeps being a problem, but you can't just ignore it either, seeing as it could lead them to believe they are right.
#116 - jackflak (11/25/2014) [-]
It's that awkward problem that really has no solution. Like you said, you give it attention and it fuels the fire, evidence of their "oppression". You leave it alone and they're "winning" and keep pushing harder.
