It was a little joke. Sorry if you got offended by me not properly respecting what this post stood for and the different methods used for it to get it`s point across.

The way you had said it implied that he did not truly back what he was saying, but that he only sought to pander to his nation

Hitler was a master of emotional appeal and spin. He knew what the people wanted to hear, and what it took to get people on his side. Just because he believed he was pushing his country in the right direction does not make those statements any less true. Nearly the exact same statements can be made of those who try to convert strangers to a religion. To avoid any religious shitstorm: this is not an attempt to compare religion to anyone or anything, just to show how universal emotional appeal is

He was a great speaker because of the great passion and conviction on which he spoke, something only attained by truly believing in what you are saying. I know public speakers. You can definitely tell when they stand for a cause or not. As one post said (I'm sure someone still has it) Hitler was human. He had morals. he believed in rights and wrongs. You seem to think that just because someone does wrong that they can't believe in rights. Christians are some of the shittiest people I've met, and I've met some shitty people. Satanists, who are supposed to be the butthole of evil, have been some of my greatest friends. Just because he rose to power through charisma doesn't mean he rose to power through lies. Adolf Hitler paid up on all promises he made through election and actually did better than most other leaders in history.

I never meant to imply any of the things you seem to think i did. Hitler of course believed in what he did. That does not mean that he did not carefully choose his words to appeal to the people he spoke Any good public speaker knows of the 3 appeals, and how to use them. Charisma is in essence a measure of how well you can get people to support you.

You are quite stupid if you think that. Hitler was a great poet, a fantastically gifted artist and he meant every word. People believed him because he lived and felt those words. With the amount of photocopied money the Rothschilds banks (jewish banks) put in to defame him and to bring the nations to war, it's no wonder the gullible think he was a demon. Clearly he was not.

Your name makes sense, no offense

Hitler said a few of those after his rise to power
#5 - jackassalope (09/12/2013) [-]
He was still a great speaker after he came to power, but nothing illustrated his skill better than the rise itself. It takes quite a lot of charisma to get others to support your atrocities.

A family friend was a fire chief for a while, he said they had to do this once and not only did they break the windows but when the owner, who was more than a little upset, confronted them they proceeded to write him a ticket for parking in the fire lane.

I mean really, it was pretty much unnecessary to break the windows to put the hose through, but hell, if someone parked in front of a fire hydrant and I was a fireman, why the hell not.
User avatar #81 - jwash (09/12/2013) [-]
How is it unnecessary? You know how much water flows through that and how much pressure its under? Can't exactly bend that around the car... Either they break the windows or fuck your car up moving it out of the way with a firetruck. They need that water more than your unwillingness to walk a little farther from where you park.
