Real question being how to you bridge the gap of what "issues" are based for each political belief. And create a discussion on whether a certain party actually doesn't believe in solving the same issues that another is claiming to know how to fix. Like I wasn't a fan of Harper as a leader but the dude knew what he was doing when it comes to the energy sector and finance. Could you imagine how badass it'd be to have the ndp taking care of civil and senior rights with certain limitations, conservative attitudes taking care of the energy and financial sector with Elizabeth May overlording it. Then justin just being an international bro and keeping our military as bad ass as it is but with less bombing and shit? We'd be the cream pie of the international community.

Agreed. What I don't get is the hold up with issues that EVERYONE agrees on. If you torture an animal you deserve more than a few months jail time. Dumping chemical waste in freshwater sources like rivers is still retardly under punished. Canadian too man! I think and hope that with ,what I can only describe, as political radicalization (far left and far right being equally dangerous stupid bastards) that we've kinda hit maximum saturation of bullshit in politics. Looking at stuff from a purely "left and right" point of view is never going to work. Hey fossil fuels suck but let's make them suck as little as possible until we have alternatives. Hey all Muslims aren't bad but let's be as careful as fucking possible immigrating large numbers of people from a radicalized country into (what I consider) rational and open countries. Ok don't call a black guy a nigger unless he's being a total nigger, don't call a Asian man a chink unless he's being a chink, don't call a white guy white trash unless he's being white trash. Let's have chicken cattle and pig farms be hygienic and enjoyable for the animals, with a painless death. Everyone should have access to a firearm when they have a training and psych exam done (except automatic weapons) (like goddamn that's the one thing I hate about our firearm laws is no handguns).

I think everything I said makes sense right? Nothing too crazy or unsafe or in humane. Yet you get people to disagree with points like that when they have to fall in line with a certain political "side". It's bullshit.

Tl;dr I don't think any self respecting conservative wants oil and gas to continue to be as exploitative and damaging as it is, and I don't think any liberal honestly believes mass immigration or heavy gun control will actually make a difference

And I totally agree with you, like I'm liberal but I really want a handgun and I don't wanna have to go through all the bs with our gun laws. I'm liberal but not stupid liberal, I'm more center minded when it comes to political affiliations, I just lean more to the right. It seems that in today's society if you align yourself with one part you have to support all insane members, no matter how completely mental they may be. Everything in moderation.

It's weird though cause the SJW radicalization is all states. Euro doesn't even have an issue with the population seeking political correctness. It seems like it's only the politicians. Dude all of euro is fucked right now. Love the blond bastards to death but goddamn they need to get this shit under control. So should the states be more butt hurt informative?

I'm thinking France is more informative because of places like Charlie Hebdo, they won't turn a blind eye to the negative consequences. Hell even my liberal family thinks that shit went sideways quick, a plan wasn't formulated to deal with the huge influx of people. That's why I think countries closing their borders was a good plan to stem the bleeding but now they need to deal with all the other problems.

These refugees need to understand that the rules you lived by in your home country don't mean shit anymore, you aren't in Kansas anymore Dorthy. You are in my country thus you need to follow my laws, get that shit thought your thick skull. If you think you can walk around my streets doing whatever you want you have another thing coming, that thing being four walls and solitary confinement. But I'm just an angry Canadian

The U.S might be fucky with all this feminazi shit but the vast majority of them are rational creatures, its just that the stupid ones get the most airtime because they are loud. So their proper placement may be just above South Korea, albeit a little higher towards informative but more over to butthurt.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared dream before." - Edgar Allan Poe

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don't always spoil the good things and make them unimportant." - The Eleventh Doctor

"Folks that throw dirt on you aren't always trying to hurt you, and folks that pull you out of a jam aren't always trying to help you. But the main point is when you're up to your nose in ****, keep your mouth shut."
