At least your neighbours try to put out a fire if they have one

He's neither, he's completely batshit insane.
90% of batman villains are off their fucking rockers.

he's not that insane here.

first, he's having an important moment. he then gets interrupted in a way he perceives personally (that's a bit paranoid, but that's not massively insane)

he then responds in a vengeful way - not insane. at penguin's level, in his world, vengeance must be swift and brutal, or he'd be dealing with upstarts all day.

that his plan was so convoluted was a mixture of his way of thinking (a bit twisted) and his vast resources.

that he was willing to drive a man to suicide is abnormal, but he knows he can get away with it. how many normal, "sane" people would kill if they knew they could get away with it? probably a lot.

Penguin isn't supposed to be one of the insane ones though

He has occasional bits of insanity, but he's legally sane for the most part.

Doens't americans have three candidates? I remember one episode of Simpsons where the two main candidates where actually aliens, but people still voted for one of then instead of the third candidate, which is pretty much how this election is going to be.

Then how they let it end betwen Trump and Hilary?

the way it works is basically the two main parties (democrat and republican) pick who their candidate is, and the 3rd main party pretty much gets forgotten because as SketchE said, they don't get the news coverage the others do

People only vote Dem or Rep because they fully realise the other will never win.

But to break it down.
Libertarian party: Gary Johnson, is represented on the ballot on all the 538 electoral votes. But the party only managed to break 1% 1.06% in 1980

Green party: Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders tier left. In the 2000 elections Ralph Nader actually managed to get 2.74% of the votes for Green. This year they have ballot acces in 47 one of them has a lawsuit still going on about it, and of the 47 states she has ballot acces, 3 are write in

Constitution party: Darrell Castle. The party never evn broke 0.2% as far as I know
Ballot access to 207 (345 with write-in) electoral vote this year.

Last, and least. Evan Mcmullin is going independent. He has ballot acces in 84 electoral votes, 317 if you include write in.
You can not vote for this dude in California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota or Washington.

And you actually have a few other people running, but nobody, not evn their own mothers, care about them.

heres the issue though. both of the two major candidates are seen as shit by a majority of people. even people who hate trump and hate hillary are still voting for one or the other because theyve been led to believe they have no chance of winning. people care more about being on the winning side than actually voting for who they think will best do the job

because the big two own most news outlets and they get zero coverage and a lot of people will say dont waste your vote on a third party even though they really want to but dont want to be on the losing side
