not he highest of high end but more than most people have i reckon. Audirvana takes over all the sound processing from Itunes and disables the EQ, really you only need EQ for poor quality speakers, and the Itunes EQ sucks balls because it adds harmonic distortion.
Most people like bass and treble, but i prefer a nice flat freq response or sloped down a little. This EQ will make your music boomy and the reble fatiguing.

I have a Benchmark DAC 1 PRE that i drive them with, playing music from my laptop using Audirvana playing flac files. Or a Pioneer PL-540 turntable with a ortofon blue cartridge and a DIY phono pre, speakers are driven by emotiva XPA-2 and i have a few DIY speakers and some vintage speakers in my stereo setup.
