It's easy to make ammo at home though. Plus, in the case of Auzzie land, what do you plan on doing when the emus have their uprising?

i dont know about the u.s. cuz thats just a fucked up country. but rest of the world it works. ie Australia had a mass shooting in 1996, and common sense ensued and banned guns. they have never had another mass shooting

>implying people will make guns in their garage from raw materials

obviously a very small number of actual guns will get into the hands of criminals, but its a very small number, and other countries are proof. and you cant compare guns to drugs because you can make drugs easily

Guns are banned in Japan but this guy made 5 revolvers on a $589 3D printer. Assuming that you can get 1 gun per roll of filament, that's ~$20 per gun and a new gun every hour. This guy wouldn't have been caught if he wasn't a retard and posted a vid of him firing it. Banning guns just makes it harder for the people that use guns properly to get one. Bad guys will always find a way...

Have you compared your gun crime rate to New Zealand? ( I think thats the country)

Which also had a mass shooting near the same time as Australia, but didn't ban guns, and the same lower gun crime rate occurred as it had already been occurring in both countries before hand and was just continuing?
#20 - anon (06/17/2016) [-]
> Aussie's ban guns

See nobody's getting killed by guns anymore guys!!

Number or murders done by other weapons immediately went up.

But.....but...... nobody's dying by guns.........

Banning guns doesn't stop crime. Won't stop killing. All it does is make it harder for the good people to defend themselves from the shit stains of society.

It's not just about randomly banning things, it's about regulating them to the correct point.
If you make it easier for 'good guys' to get the upper hand and for 'bad guys' to have a hard time obtaining weapons or whatever item you're regulating, then laws are working correctly.

The argument he was responding to stated that criminals would get guns and kill with them anyway, not that crime would become nonexistent. Isn't context just a fantastic thing?

I feel like the people in Orlando would have had a much easier time defending themselves if the shooter came in with a knife instead

The thing is that in the us there are alreadu so many guns out here, that it's irrational to think you could possibly round them up.

you are referring to the canines surrounding the cat-like hyena. They dont belong to the Canis familiaris species, like dogs and wolves.
